We went to Minamoto for my daughter’s birthday at her request to try a new sushi place. We were pleasantly surprised how good this spot is. The service was excellent and so was all of the food. Even the miso soup was better than any other I’ve tried. I can’t think of better sushi either. Fresh and flavorful. Presentation was fantastic. A little pricey but worth it! Definitely going back for my birthday.

Great sushi in a place that does not necessarily have a high end look and feel, but don’t judge a book etc. Great service. Great sake, great food. Not overly expensive. Will come again.

Hands down, my favorite sushi place. I don’t mind driving hour and half to get good quality food that I enjoy. The fish is always fresh and you can tell they make it with love and do care about presentation and every little detail. Their customer service is amazing. I found this spot by accident but I keep coming here and it never disappoints. Thank you!

Firstly, the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are very welcoming. We even arrived quite a bit ahead of our reservation and they seated us immediately, which surprised me! The food was absolutely delicious, and we ordered several things throughout the evening. The food arrived quickly every time, and there never seemed to be a single instance where we were missing anything at the table that we wanted or needed. Highly recommend as a nice date spot!

The food variety, food presentation, the vibe, and the service are all great, but the actual food is not. We tried the shishito peppers, and they were tasteless. We had 2 rolls, angel and alaska, sashimi salad as well as salmon tataki, but all the fish was very fishy. The miso and mushroom soup were basic. The wagyu fried rice was the best thing we tried. They need to make some serious changes to their kitchen or fish to be able to compete in this market. Lots of great sushi options nearby.Parking: They validate parking at alley 111
