I recently dined at Novilhos, lured by their promising advertisement of a meal that included dessert. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was promised, which prompts me to write this review to warn others.Firstly, the “included dessert” option was misleading. The advertisement did not disclose that it was limited to only two mediocre choices. This vital piece of information was conveniently omitted, setting us up for disappointment right from the start. Moreover, when I attempted to address the misleading advertisement with the manager, Jesus, his response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or even offering an apology, he was arrogant and insisted that no further accommodations would be made. He also refused to provide contact information for the backup general manager, who I was told would be on duty the following day.The meal itself was a letdown with the meat being dry and overcooked, a surprising failure from a restaurant of such repute. Expecting a delightful dining experience, we were instead met with subpar food and appalling customer service.Given this experience, I requested a refund for the desserts, which were technically part of the meal deal as advertised during Restaurant Week. I have yet to see any rectification or acknowledgment of this issue.I had hoped Novilhos would become a regular spot for us, as we live in Newport Shores and dine out frequently. However, this experience has completely dissuaded us. I will be sharing this experience across my social media profiles and review sites to ensure potential diners are aware of what might await them at Novilhos. To Novilhos management: Transparency and customer respect are crucial in hospitality. Unfortunately, both were lacking during my visit. I hope this feedback prompts some necessary changes to avoid future customer disappointments. Until then, I cannot recommend Novilhos to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable dining experience.

We’ve been here twice and both times Miguel the guacho and Michelle the server took great care of us, Michelle provided us with amazing service and made us feel welcome and Miguel remembered our favorite cuts of meat and made sure we received them, theyre both very kind and they make us want to come back, they deserve recognition for their great work!

Disappointing Brazilian Steakhouse ExperienceThis Brazilian steakhouse was a huge disappointment, especially considering I came here to celebrate a special occasion. Despite the high price tag of over $170 for two people meal, the meats, including the steaks, were all dry and overcooked.I asked for medium-rare every time, but they just gave whatever piece. Frankly, the quality was unacceptable, and I wouldn't be happy paying even $20. My companions even remarked that $12 Chinese buffet would be better than this place, which was embarrassing and sad that I picked this place, paid this much money, and no one is happy. It wasn't good food and not good experience. The atmosphere felt like I was getting street food.Inconsistent service further marred the experience. On the website, they listed filet mignon, and there were several reviews that they preferred filet mignon over the others. I was also initially told I could request specific cuts of meat. Filet mignon wasn't coming around for over 40mins when I noticed there were other meats they are keep showing up multiple times. After 40mins, I was getting full and still wanted to try it so I requested filet mignon. It went unanswered. I requested one more time and I did not get to see filet mignon for over an hour.Overall, this was a regrettable experience that I would not recommend if you're looking for good food or having good experience.

When we first sit down, our waiter tried to push sell us alcohol and beverages. After we declined his suggestion of sparkling water, and told him we need a bit more time to read the menu, he seemed unsatisfied and gave us bad look. He also rudely ask us whether we use groupon… I’m like what?? Overall I couldn’t understand what he’s talking aboutI felt really uncomfortable of this style of service. The food is ok but too pricy for the quality.. lot of meat is burnt and too salty for my taste.

The food was decent but they stopped coming by our table with no explanation. We didn’t even get to try every cut of meat they were bringing around and they were going to the tables around us. Out card was not flipped over for them to stop coming and we also ordered extra drinks which have a high profit margin.

Service is good but food quality could be improved as some of the meat tasted like plastic and over-salted. Overrated place. Won't be returning for future visits.

This place is beautiful. The food is amazing and your wait staff are amazing as well. The servers serving the meat don't do a good enough job explaining what they are bringing around. It might just be a one day, and servers having a bad day, but I can only write what I experienced. If it's your first time, prepare to have a good evening.

The food was of average quality. Several dishes were over-salted and several were hard to chew. They also don't offer any seafood products. 3 out of 5. The place is definitely overrated.

Overall disappointing, and here is why. The hostess was very welcoming. But as soon as we set down we felt rushed. They started serving food real quick and were short with us. After about 20-30 minutes, we figured that we actually need to ask if we want more meat, so what is the point of the green/red card on the table right??!? At one point they just stopped bringing us meat and I’m not sure why. We’re not big hungry crowd and we really didn’t eat that much. Then we started asking for more, again, again, and again. After a while, we finally got more meat. Not good service. The place is nice, and very easy to park and get in, that is why we went there and not to Fogo… in Bellevue. Not to the actual food. I give it 5 out of 10. Not bad, but nothing special. They killed the ribeye, but the filet was good. Most pieces were very salty. No reason for that.Parking: Park right in the front.

Our recent visit was remarkable, largely due to our server, Gio, who provided the best service we’ve ever had. The food was, as usual, exceptional, but Gio’s attentiveness made our experience stand out even more. Highly recommend for both the quality of the meal and the outstanding service.
