I've been to just about every independent wine shop in seattle, and this is by far the best, with some strong contenders for second place. Pricing, selection, and service are off the charts, with extremely passionate people, absolutely stellar bottles from around the world, and everything ranging between "a steal" and "perfectly fair" with pricing. This is a very small thing, but I love that they print the prices on the sides of the bottles rather than on the front with those tiny stupid stickers that leave residue. Fantastic events and other goodies for sale also. Even if you're far from Bellevue, it's worth taking a couple hundred and making the drive here to stock up on gems.

I've frequented Seattle Wine Company for over 15 years. The wine selection is large, both foreign & domestic, and it's always fun to discover new labels. They have offerings you won't see anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable & competitive and there's a wide range for your budget or that special high end gift bottle. Nabil, Karen & Mark are friendly, attentive and remarkably knowledgable.

Absolutely lovely, affordable wine shop. They had a great selection of Washington and Oregon wines, at a price point where you really felt like you could try different wines and experiment. Karen was super knowledgeable and friendly and I really look forward to coming back. We popped open a $17 bottle of Pinot that she recommended from the Willamette Valley, and it's delicious.
