Worst service, I was the only one there and the manager kept talking to a friend. I had to keep asking for service. They told me my to go order would take 10mins. It only took 4 minutes and the quality was bad. Barley hand shaven noodle had an egg and 4 pieces of beef and noodles were dry. It used to be SO MUCH BETTER.

I dined in here before COVID, and their food was pretty good. I ordered a delivery today, and I was shocked at how little food I got for the money I paid, I had to recook it, season it cuz the stir fried noodles were sooooo bland.

I understand how devastating Covid has been for restaurants and that this place went through a change in ownership.The quality of food is utterly hit and miss. They have taken many staples off the menu and don’t bother to update their website, Yelp or Google page.Called today to order Mongolian chicken to go. I was just simply told “we don’t have that;” I even spent 2 or 3 minutes trying to find out if she would offer a substitute stirfry dish with somewhat similar flavors. No luck. Mentioned that online it advertises a dish that looks like it and that seemed confusing to the young woman on the phone.Alas, after over 15 years of patronage, I will not be bothering with ShangHai Cafe again.

I am ok with their food but really hoping they provide more eco friendly to go containers. Styrofoam is not a good option for hot Chinese food. If they charge me for choosing better containers (compostable, eco friendly, less environmental hormone released product), I am willing to pay additional for better containers.

OMG! The worst food in history. You'd be better off buying Chinese food at Costco frozen and zapping it in the microwave. My sautè veggies with crispy chicken were soaking in a cup of flavorless sauce and half my order was wrong. NEVER AGAIN WILL I MAKE THE MISTAKE OF EATING HERE!They didn't even offer to correct my order.

I ordered the food from Doordash and the food quality was very disappointed. The beef noodle soup comes with no veggies. It used to be a very good restaurant when dining in.
I should have read the Reviews First !!! Drunken Chicken had no rice wine taste. No point in getting ‘Drunken’ chicken if it’s taste is just normal. The House sliced noodles were bland. Nope, no second time. Must be a family business, since the chick at the counter was just so casual.

I dint know this resturant had sold until... we ordered take out and couldn’t believe the smaller portions, then the lack of flavor compared to what we had been used to fir over 30 years... Really miss the family that had this resturant fur years...can’t believe that they didn’t tell us they were selling.. sad...I miss Katie and her family...

We went in multiple times a week. When we went in the last time, we asked where all the other ladies were. We were told they were on vacation. The service was meh, and the meal was not good. My buddy's cashew chicken came out with raw cashews. They said that's how it's prepared. It's not. He's gotten it every time we went in for years. I also always get the triple delight and that was a mess too. We haven't been back since.
