I am more than delighted to share a review about my visit to fka Taj palace which has changed ownership and is now Amulya Indian cuisine. #1. Service was 20/10. Their focus on customer experience was definitely acknowledged. Wish I would have hit my servers name, but she was you and so sweet. The owners were also there visiting with customers, huge smiles and happiness. The vibe was amazing.Speaking of amazing food was hands down the best South and North Indian food I've had.I'm gluten sensitive and my server was quick to confirm that 99% of the food was safe for me, also offered to double check with chef. This was a wonderful lunch, and the best way to kick off my weekend.

Buffer option was overpriced and tasted way below average. Not worth $25We went for lunch buffet here for the very first time. Made the biggest mistake, make sure you check their buffet menu before being seated. The options are very limited for the price. No appetizer option, only one non veg curry (chicken tikka masala), and gulab jamun as the only dessert option. This places was a complete rip off

Go there if you prefer Indian buffet. They should add few more items as we found the options very limited for a buffet.Loved their Naan bread.

The owners and their team is very friendly and helpful. They obviously love what they do and serving their community. I will definitely bring family and friends back again

This USED to be my favorite for Indian food. Prices are through the roof now, at least 80% of our recent take out orders have been wrong. I ordered plain naan, came with garlic. I ordered saag w paneer (should be green spinach) but got unidentifiable orange goo. The potato samosas had no identifiable potato but some weird breadcrumb filling. Fried Bhaji is burnt.Previously we've had multiple orders of naan that had more black burnt charcoal than naan. I spent over an hour driving to get takeout, spent over $100 ... I'm always told the the owner chef will call me back but he never does. After the 5th or 6th time of the chef apparently having NO IDEA what saag paneer is....you'd think I would have learned. I WILL NOT EVER BE BACK. Which is sad, because we've supported this restaurant for decades! It has changed, & is not worth it.We'll be looking for a new Indian restaurant.Peace out. ?

Worst restaurant I have never seen in my life. Today we went for buffet lunch and we were completely disappointed with food item. Very less items for Veg and there were 2 items only for non veg. Please don’t plan for lunch for this restaurant.

Burnt food, everything was burned out garlic naans, samosas, tandoori chicken. Everything was charcoal. I have been to this place before but this time was last probably because the food completely sucks. Food here costs about $100 every time so not worth it. They served us charcoal.

The Server/the greeter / order taker/the cashier ( whatever her title is) at the cash register is so clueless about the food being served here. She has no idea how the food is made, or what food in those dishes being served. She can make no suggestion. So please read the menu good, then order. She has a completely different heritage, and background that is not similar to the food establishment she is working for. And she received no training, So don't count on her to help you in suggesting a dish here. Please Do your own research. Then you hear all these loud hispanic talking in the kitchen of this indian restaurant, and not one indian person is in the kitchen, or there or on site. You start wondering am I going to get a good indian dish, or a mediocre indian food. Or a taco , or a burrito disguised as indian dish. Then when you get your food , and taste it. you realize your suspicion was correct. The food here is a joke , bad quality, bad flavor. Badly prepared. Bad presentation , and the worst so called indian food. It is a food cooked with lots of Indian spices, but it does not even taste close to indian food.If I wanted hespanic food , I know some really good restaurants, but I came here to indian restaurant. But you give all those non indian worker credits for trying to make & cook indian food, which tastes terrible. There are a few good things here, Clean spacious place, good decor, and they give you large portions on the rice, and they wrap their to go flimsy non-microwaveable container with shrink wrap , so it does not open up, and spill, and make a mess.Their prices are awful, and too high for the quality, little portions of food & meat, and for the bad taste of food you get here.I Don't recommend this place for indian foodSo please don't make the same mistake I made. By ordering here, and wasting your good money on this bad indian food, prepared by non indians

My husband, our teenage son, and I enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. We had been warned that their lunch menu was fairly limited, so we were pleased to find that they had recently brought their buffet back. The lamb meatballs and chicken tikka masala were our favorite selections from the buffet. The freshly made naan was divine, but limited to one basket per table. We would gladly have paid extra for refills but were never given opportunity to ask. The server (an owner?) stayed in a far corner of the restaurant, socializing with two others, and didn’t return except to bring the check at the end of our meal. The dining area is comfortable and attractively decorated to typical Bellevue standards. At $25 per person this lunch was overpriced for what we got — one trip to the buffet and one bottle of water.

Nothing can beat the naan, only place where i loved naan. Didn’t like the rice as i was expecting plain rice. Chicken was just okay.

Authentic, genuine, delicious Indian food waits for you at this family-owned restaurant. Their beautiful decore transports you to India. Their comforting food is perfectly seasoned. Try the Mango Chicken and Chili Pakora, which pair perfectly with chai or white wine. Look no further; this is where you want to eat.Update: I visited today for lunch and had the buffet. Best. Samosas. Ever.

This is the 3rd time I have given this place a new chance to see if I find the old glory here, but this place isn't coming back at all. Years ago this was a restaurant to go with great food and reasonable prices. But since the management has gone to the lady, this enterprise of Mr Gill has only gone downhill. Here is a summary of my last three visits here;Food - the quality has become terrible, inedible, and some items unrecognizable. One of these visits was on a buffet, the value is just not at par with anything on the Eastside. If there was a worst Indian food in America, this food can be among that. The number of items in buffet reduced to half, stale items from earlier days, just one sweet dish, you will not dare to eat.Prices: The prices are very high. Even higher than the best Indian restaurants in Washington!!! The worst part is, there is no transparency. There is nickel and dime for every item, be it rice, naan, or even a bottle of water. If you enter the place, you'd be lucky if you can get out without paying minimum $40 per person and sour taste, bad food, and worst service!Service: Non existent. The overly greedy lady will provide the service with only intention to upsell, suggest you items that are NOT in the buffet. Buffet does not have tandoori chicken, and if you say yes to it, add a hugely priced 4 pieces of smallest chicken pieces you have ever seen. That too stale, as their clientele has obviously dwindled, with much lower consumption, leading to stale food. She will upsell you lassi ($10), beer ($17) or just water ($1/serving).Bill: Completely non transparent. You'll only see a total, and nothing else. They expect you to swipe the card and get out of there.I have tried enough and even given them tips. They say yes to it all and do nothing about it.I am done. Why should I go there again to torture myself with bad food, have an average experience for my guests, and then get ripped off with a complete thankless attitude from the lady?!If you want a bad experience go there. Else look elsewhere.Namaste.
