Nice casual japanese sushi spot! This place has unique tatami mat style seating and is decently spacious. We ordered the crazy horse roll, citrus salmon roll, factoria roll and vegetable tempura. All the rolls were pretty good and the sashimi was smooth. The crazy horse was packed with chunks of salmon, tuna, and hamachi which was nice. The batter on the tempura was decently light and flaky.Overall, this seems like a great non-traditional sushi spot for a large menu of options.

Ordered takeout, so can’t speak to the service of atmosphere. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and an order of maguro nigirir. Overall very disappointing. The maguro was 8 bucks for two tiny pieces, each covered with a paper thin piece of tuna. The tuna quality was good, however. The bento box all around was sad. The chicken teriyaki was perhaps the saddest chicken I can remember ever having - dry, bland, with a thin runny sauce. On the plus side, the little iceberg lettuce salad, while drab, was fresh, with no brown bits at all.

On of the best sushi places at this price point. Fresh, yummy, quick, ready to customize.

Poor food items. I won't come back again. I don't know why people rate this place so high.

Tokyo Japanese Restaurant is a solid option for when you're craving Japanese food and are in Factoria. The few times I've been it hasn't been too crowded and service is good. They have a decent sized menu, so you have plenty of options to choose from. I enjoy many of their sushi rolls and love the chicken katsu with curry

I've driven by this place a thousand times and finally tried it tonight. I wish I hadn't waited so long! The food was incredible. We started with asparagus salad and it was perfectly cooked and not stringy. The tempura vegetables were cooked perfectly (often they come undercooked) and the portion was generous. We loved our rolls(I didn't expect the citrus roll to be so delicious!) and will definitely be back. The atmosphere is intimate and the shared seating was really cool. Would definitely recommend to any Japanese food enthusiast because it's not just sushi. They have udon and bento options as well.

I enjoyed the food, however, each slice of sashimi is thin more than half compare to other places.

Tucked away in the plaza on Factoria Blvd in Bellevue you can find this little worthwhile gem. We stopped in after a movie (AMC across the street makes this a convenient stop afterwards). There was no line and several open tables but there were quite a few people dining already. We were greeted and seated quickly, allowed our choice of table by the corner window. There is no full bar or drink menu but they serve wine beer and sake. The sushi was good. My date is new to sushi and enjoyed it thoroughly so it was a win. It's fairly quaint, not too busy, good service and good food. Simple clean and fresh Bellevue sushi option.

Pretty good fare. Didn't seem quite as fresh as I'd expected. Still great service, atmosphere and table setup.Everywhere in Bellevue seems outrageously expensive these days, so can't complain about that.Still, I'd come back here again.

Hidden gem, Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Factoria. Looks like nothing from outside. Inside, cool seating and great service. The fish? The best sushi I've had in decades.

Been here a couple of times. Quality food and pretty affordable, especially the lunch menu. A bit of a strange layout inside with many seats without backrests and connected

for the sushi quality, I think this establishment is a little overpriced. It tastes fine (the lemon one was verY sour and bitter though bc they put lemon slices on top that I think were meant to be eaten??), but I don't know if I'll be back just because of how pricey it was.I liked the potato croquettes though! And I appreciated that the hot tea was free
