This was my first time at Cafe Rumba! It is near my office so I thought I’d give it a try. I asked the person behind the counter what people’s favorites were and she said #2 and #4 sandwiches, so that is what we got! The sandwiches were good, but a little messy to eat. Lots of fresh, not processed chicken on my #4. The shoestring potatoes were not what I imagined, they were sliced of cooked potatoes with a slightly spiced cream sauce on them. I found them quite good!! Definitely a place I’ll go again!Parking: I had to park and walk about 5 minutes. It was a beautiful day so it was a nice walk!
Sandwiches were great. Initial service during not-busy time was OK. Takeout order at end was botched, twice, during busy time. And to finish this off, no accommodation or apology was offered. Under those circumstances this came across as gross rudeness, and so we won't be returning in spite of the excellent, tasty food.

Vegetarian options: I saw a couple of vegetable based dishes, but I did not see any specific labeling.Wheelchair accessibility: There is not good accessibility here. The space is tight even for folks standing. Theres a ramp to the bathroom, but the bathroom is old, and way too small to navigate with any sort of accessibility issues - not just wheelchair users. Its only a little bit bigger than the bathroom on a plane.
How lucky are we to have this restaurant in Bellingham!?!? Unbelievably good.

I've never had a bad sandwich here, and the side potatoes are always delicious. I'm not a vegetarian but the vegetarian sandwich is actually my favorite! So flavorful. Can be a bit of a wait at the lunch rush on weekends.
My favorite lunch place in Bellingham, hands down. Favorites are the butifarra and pollo sandwiches. Great daily specials and happy hour.
