The taste of donuts alone is a five, one of the best donuts I've had! They keep the menu simple and straightforward. Card charge for every purchase seemed excessive so think about bringing cash if you can. Service wasn't rude but wasn't welcoming either; it's a donut place so you want something straightforward anyway. If the donuts didn't taste so good, well proportioned and priced, the stars on this review would be way lower because sadly the place wasn't very clean. They had limited seating in the first place and it just didn't seem like things get wiped down frequently. This may not bother someone who is on the go.

Dropped by Lafeens after hearing good things and went for an apple fritter. It struck the right balance of apple, cinnamon, and icing without being overcooked—a common issue I’ve found with fritters. The person working was friendly and helpful. Included a pic of the donut for scale.

Best doughnuts ever! You won’t be disappointed in these treats with so many flavors to choose from. They maybe a bit pricey for individual items but it is worth it - the quality and portion size of each item correlate well with their prices :)

I hate consuming a donut that has been prepared the previous evening and served the next morning. That's the only way you can get donuts here. Been to better and tastier donut shops.

I paid over 8 bucks for 2 doughnuts that I had to throw out because they were so greasy from not being cooked right. Gone down hill big time over the 43 years I've been shopping there. After lafeens sold it to the Asians it went south fast changing sizes to half size over 4xs the price hike. I'll pass.

I decided to try out this donut place since it had good reviews and is close to my home. From the outside, the shop looks rather dilapidated. The entire inside also looks dated, like from the 1980s. The place offers ice cream and donuts. I tried their original glazed for $2.38, and it was pretty nasty. The oil used to fry the donut tasted racid. However, to their credit, the donut was soft and the glaze tasted good.

Best Apple Fritters in all of Whatcom County. Eat 2000 calories of sweet, sweet billowy flour, fat, and sugar, and then burn it off on the Whatcom Falls trails. Best Sunday ever.

This is one of the best donut shops in town and a ice cream is homemade the only thing they need is this root beer floats and then they never talk everything off also maybe that should start doing some commercials and building hands Maybe on YouTube or Instagram and they never be great just talking about the history of the place we need more places like this in America unfortunately we don't have them like that anymore they must have and grow and teach you next Generations about what it means to have priority set we talked about great quality food we must understand that the hard work and dedication that they put in every day is extraordinary continue to be blessed and grow in downtown BellinghamVegetarian options: It's a great place for vegetarians that don't have meatDietary restrictions: Yeah I guess he was on the does a cop died or something like that if you trying to gain weight things of that nature I think it's a great place to goParking: The parking is okay I don't see no problemKid-friendliness: The closest Care Friendly I mean it is a place that you would take the whole family and enjoy the whole day and evening time thank youWheelchair accessibility: I think people with disabilities and access to great places like this make people a mental health feel great and I think that we need more of that in the city thank you
