The customer service here is not great. I have stayed in the hotel a couple times for work so naturally I’ve given this place a couple tries. The first time with a party of two, we each ordered pizza and one came out 25 minutes before the other one and the server said that she accidentally ate the other one (?!?!) so it had to be remade. What lol. But that’s what she said.Other times I have been ignored at the bar or while waiting at the host stand. They really don’t have it together. If you’re staying in the hotel I guess it’s a better alternative to starving.

Nice hotel restaurant, reasonably priced food. Make sure and order focaccia bread, made in house. Etouffee was okay.

Food was good, the staff was helpful but they were short staffed on the day we visited. Clean and with nice decor and atmosphere.

Reuben was made with thick, overly fatty chunks of pastrami instead of thin slices. The steak was well over cooked, and the server was too cutesy for words. Kept calling us darlings, my loves, sweeties, etc.

We got breakfast two days in a row for a total of six different meals. The food was great and a good amount of it. The kids loved the French toast, and the wife loved the omelette. I had the nortwater it was good too.

The hotel needs to hire more wait staff. The food is good, if nothing special. The waitress was working her butt off, but they're understaffed and the kitchen couldn't be any slower.

I heard Northwater Restaurant had a pizza oven, so we tried it as a late night to-go order. It was still plenty hot by the time we got home, which was great! I'd like to go back and try the rest of their menu since it looks fantastic.Parking: I never realized there was an underground parking garage there before my visit last night. You access it through the hotel lobby, so you stay dry on cold, rainy nights.

The food was very expensive for the quality, my wife got the fish and chips and the batter was doughy, wet, and there was more batter than cod. She forced herself to eat just the inside of one piece and couldn’t eat anymore than that. It was greasy and flavorless, it all just tasted like grease. Like they haven’t cleaned the deep fryer in ages. By the time my 30 dollar hangar steak got to my table it was cold, the flavor was fine however. Just not worth the 30 dollars they ask for it. Our waitress was very nice though, so that was a plus! Overall, it’s a cool place for a couple drinks and a quick snack. But if you’re looking for a quality dinner and great food at a reasonable price, this is not the place for that. Unfortunately though, based on the food quality and cost we won’t be going back to Northwater again. It’s definitely not worth 100 dollars for just two people.

The Northwater Restaurant is a cut above. Our numerous meals here have never disappointed! The food is fresh, carefully prepared and has FLAVOUR!!! The folks behind the bar are always beyond accommodating and the hotel is our ONLY choice when we need to spend an evening in Bellingham when we have an early morning flight out of the Bellingham Airport (which is literally a stones throw from the hotel). The rooms are quiet, very clean, spacious & well appointed.
