Great glam cocktails, great flavored martinis, meat cocktail flights, friendly staff, and a decent small bites menu. What’s not to like? The ambience/atmosphere that’s what. Feels a little too open and cafeteria like. A cocktail lounge needs to be a little more intimate, especially when the word cocktail is in your name. But don’t let that stop you from visiting this place or you’ll be missing out on an experience in the world of glam cocktails.

I quite enjoyed my visit! I know of this place because of their fancy drinks. That's the main reason I keep going back. But the food is also noteworthy. The cocktail flight features Lost In Lemon, Burnt Sunset and Caribbean Cruise. The burnt sunset has bourbon in it and I don't like to drink it. But my wife who does like bourbon liked it. The Mount Baker Bruschetta is absolutely delicious! If someone could just give me plates of that for dinner my life would be complete! I'm a huge fan of traditional bruschetta so this was right down my alley! I also had the Big Snowy Burger. It features 6oz angus patty, caramelized sherry onions, Havarti, arugula, blistered cherry tomatoes, and garlic aioli. Another home run in my books!

I haven't yet had the pleasure of eating/drinking inside the restaurant yet. However, I ordered from them tonight on DoorDash and it was legitimately one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I got the Walkabout Burger; a delicious mess if I've ever seen one (in the best way possible). I did get a few soggy fries. But - they were soggy from the demi-glace sauce oozing from the amazing burger. It only made them that much more tasty. The rest were crisp and just perfect. So if you haven't given this place a shot, you definitely should. 5/5 stars easy!

Stopped in on whim and was pleasantly suprised. Cocktails were good and appetizers were great. Steak bites were the best thing I ate all weekend. Fun place!

Amazing place check it out!!!!!! Love the staff and the food speaks for itself. My goodness! THE CAMPFIRE SANGA IS EXQUISITE. One must try the Big Snowy Burger too, I cannot wait to try the rest of their menu. Just amazing food. Chef KC is a legend in my books.

I've been in here a few times and have always been happy with my service. Kirsten is a great server, very welcoming and accommodating. The virgin pina colada is amazing and the fries have the perfect amount of flavor. Always happy coming here

I always try to think the best of a business, and give them the best review possible and the benefit of the doubt, but I have been looking forward to visiting this place for so long and pretty much was let down on every aspect of a good dining experience. - it was the night of a show next door at Mt Baker so we figured it would be busy.. so we made a reservation - is Covid not a thing anymore at all? Our table was less than 2 feet from the tables next to us, it was cramped, crowded, and you could Hardly have a conversation with the person with you it was so loud and you could hear people next to you - we didn't even have our waitress come take our drink order for at least 20+ minutes .. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and food at once because we had plenty of time to make a decision - our appetizer and drinks came quite a bit later, that was pretty decent (can't really screw up a mimosa flight ).. but the steak bites were WAY over cooked - food... I got a Burger that was pretty decent, and my friend got a chicken wrap. It was mostly lettuce, not much chicken.. - we finished our food and never saw our waitress again , not to check on the food or drinks. We asked the hostess for our bill and went elsewhere for another drink. I hope my next time will be a better dining experience..

I’ve been to five or six of the cocktail tasting events and they are always a lot of fun. 6 mini cocktails that we rate 1-5 stars and tasty bites to go with for one set price. It’s a great date night spot or hangout for friends. Their regular menu has never disappointed, I need to make it in soon to try out the new lunch menu. Thanks snowy for always keeping it interesting.

The staff is friendly and make you feel welcomed. Cocktails are amazing with an option to bet on your bartender! They will create a drink from your likings. The food is delicious and greatly priced! They are one of the only places to get prime rib in Bellingham. They have some locally sourced items to choose from. Highly recommend on getting drinks and food!

My family took me here for my birthday. Two of my children are strict vegans, so we called in advance to make sure they were accommodated. There were a few items that were clearly marked as vegan but after asking some questions to our irritated server, it turns out that these dishes were in fact not vegan. They made a vegan dish for them, but we all weren't impressed with any of our meals. As a side note, they chose this restaurant because I like scotch and they have a scotch flight which consists of three shots. Two of them are Lagvullin and Ardberg which are not very high quality and the third was Japanese scotch which isn't really scotch. As my first impression, $40+ for this flight is not at all worthy. Couple that with a server with attitude and we won't be back

Enjoy this place every time. The food and cocktails are always delicious. Their events are fun too. Had the falafel burger on the lunch menu, both gluten free and vegetarian. So yummy!

We’ve been here for dinner and for lunch now (which is new!) and the atmosphere is so cool, the food is delicious, the drinks are SO tasty with a unique aesthetic! The service has been super friendly. I highly recommend.

Love this Bellingham Resturant, I had an amazing burger, probably one of the best ever while my daughter had the prime rib and my son in law loved the Steak. Probably should be called a Steak house / Burger House as wow was it great. All of us love the meals and drinks. Our new fav place to go.

We arrived at 5:00 and unbeknownst to us, there was a play going on at the mount baker theater. The restaurant was busy, however it took 20 minutes for drink menus, as well as waters. We ordered our food and it did not come for about an 1.5 hours. I ordered another drink and it never came, however the restaurant was dead at this point, 7:30. We finally received our food at 7:45 ish, it was cold, my steak was way over done and had been sitting for a significant time. I was truly disheartened at the lack of attentive servers. The cocktails were okay but lacking the glitter, which is the only reason I came. I will not be back, and I will not recommend.

It's a small world, growing more minuscule every day. Late on a relatively warm Friday in late April, a corner bar loomed ahead through the darkness, looking like something from an Edward Hopper painting. As we approached, the name Snowy River came into focus. How ironic. One of my favorite watering holes in Seattle used to be called Snowy River, and one of my reviews exposed the name change before it was legally decided. I didn't enamor myself to John and Joey, the new owners of this Seattle bar, but they still agreed to serve me. I always feel a bit sheepish walking into their bar. But I digress. The Snowy River Cocktail Lounge in Bellingham is owned and managed by a pleasant former Sydney Aussie named Stuart, who is indeed the former owner of the former Snowy River in Belltown. Before I use another former, Stuart was well aware of my review. The Bellingham Snowy River is a wonderful cocktail lounge, and I had a good time nursing my night cap. Drinks and food are excellent at this Snowy River, the name apropos due to Stuart's Aussie origins. Bellingham is one of the great towns in America, and bars like Snowy River and business people who care about the city, such as Stewart, will continue to enhance the city's reputation. Snowy River is a must when in Bellingham.
