“My first time in Blaine, WA and I ran into the new owner, Troy at a local hair salon. He lent me his phone and we got to talking. I took my partner out to dinner at the Black Forest Steakhouse and man alive was that impressive. Top notch service and absolutely stellar food. We had the calamari to start and then schnitzel and a rib-eye. Epic evening!“

“Wonderful place - good food, service and the patio is delightful. We sat on the patio overlooking the sea and it was just lovely - sun and a slight breeze. Our server Suzanne was friendly, attentive but not overbearing and gave great advice about the menu. The food was excellent! We shared the carpaccio to start, it was tasty and with lovely accents from the capers and mustard. I had the Bohemian Salad with an added duck leg and my husband had the Forester Schnitzel for mains. The salad absolutely does not need a protein, but the duck was also an amazing compliment and beautifully cooked. Schnitzel with spaetzle and cabbage was spot on with a rich, tasty sauce. Portions are generous.“
