Food:Honestly, I was expecting some flavor fireworks, but what I got was more like a flavor fizzle. The dishes were just meh – lacking that oomph you expect when dining out.Service:Okay, brace yourself for this one. The waiters? Total snooze fest. Not only were they slow as molasses, but they had this rude vibe going on that just killed the mood. Like, hello? We’re paying customers here!

Wonderful hidden gem. The food was delicious (we had the lentil soup, badnjan, boolani, and the mixed kebab plate). I could seriously eat the soup and badnjan everyday. The outdoor space is beautiful and the inside is very cozy. Will definitely be back soon.

Recently ordered takeout from Afghan Choopan, selecting Boolani, meat combo, and spinach sabji. Despite the meat combo having fewer chicken pieces than anticipated (only 3-4), the naan fulfilled its purpose adequately. The true gem of the order was the firni, offering a perfect sweetness that melted like ice cream.Portions were satisfying for a single person per dish, ensuring a fulfilling meal even for takeout.Although I can’t comment on the in-house dine in experience, the convenience of takeout was complemented by ample parking, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to a hassle-free customer experience. If considering takeout from Afghan Choopan, the portions and standout items like the firni make it a worthwhile choice.

Incredible food. We got the boolani, a veggie combo and a meat combo. Just wanted a variety of options. Everything was incredible. They have a tandoori oven so the naan bread is crispy and delicious. The pallouw is really good (very similar to plov if you're familiar). Tasty daal, great chicken. But it's the eggplant that is the real star. It's so incredible. Roasted and smooth and impeccably seasoned and topped with yogurt sauce. Unbelievable. This was my first time dining in, but definitely not my last. Great ambience with sitar music and tapestries. Our food came out efficiently, staff were friendly.Parking: Parking lot with a few spots close to the restaurant and a few down at the bottom of the hill. May be tough if the lot is busy, because it's on a busy street with no street parking.
Unfortunately that was our first and last to go , Kebab was raw . Rice mixed with old leftover rice and freshly cooked rice. and the plates were dirty . The owner Started asking personal information where are you from ? when you come to USA ? Very disappointed please it doesn’t represent the Afghan food or

The food was incredible! We ordered online and picked up at the restaurant and it was an easy experience. It was our first time trying afghan food and it was a perfect introduction to the cuisine. We will definitely be coming back!

Some of the best food I’ve had in the Seattle area! Tastes like home cooked Afghan food. They were easily able to accommodate gluten and dairy allergies and took great care to ensure all ingredients were safe for my wife who is celiac. Will be back here again soon!

Very traditional Afghan apparently. It was good, smaller portions but the prices are very reasonable. Very young and casual staff. Ask what something is and they will say "I don't know" Our waiter, young kid said "it's just some white stuff"....pretty hilarious. It's interesting, let's put it that way. No wine, beer or spirits. It's just an Afghan place...
Tasty food and a well-decorated interior.
