Seems like they may be working on the interior a bit, but it wasn't distracting. They have a little corner with books and toys for the kiddos, and highchairs.We were immediately greeted by a gal in the back. She kindly offered her recommendations when asked and was helpful in explaining ingredients and flavors. We ordered the $14 BB Burrito; eggs, bacon and cheddar - no skimping on this fatty breakfast burrito! Also got the $3.50 single slice avocado toast and added hard boiled eggs for an extra $1.50, def worth it. Don't be fooled by its appearance, so much flavor and deliciousness! The single slice was perfect for me, I loved the garlic, salt and pepper seasonings and sourdough.Aside from the traditional coffee drinks, they have smoothies and blenders. We got the Mango smoothie, smallest size is 16oz. Vanilla Chai tea latte with almond milk, so much yum!So glad we ventured 7 minutes off our route to check Hot Java Cafe out!Parking: Small private parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Cafe has kid corner and toys to help occupy the wee ones. My iced americano is (I'm drinking it as I write this) delicious, smooth, and just the right amount of bitter. The barista, whose name I didn't get (next time I will), was very friendly. “Finally got to try this! We tried one of each musubi, as well as one coffee and one red bull drink. The last who attended is was super sweet and friendly & everything was delicious. I loved the bacon avocado the most and my spouse loves the spicy tuna. I don't know what kind of sauce came with that spicy tuna but it is amazing. The drinks were too but I don't know if I can order drinks next time. This is drive through *only* and it's really the drinks that delay the drive through as the musubis are already made and it makes me uncomfortable to slow it down.I think the one thing I really don't like is the drive through situation. Only maybe 4-6 cars fit into the area and the rest need to stay out in the street, in the suicide lane waiting for a spot which just gets me all antsy as someone could easily/accidentally cut in front. Also if you are not in a car, are you supposed to stand in the street? Doesn't seem safe.I would think it would be best to have the line snake through the parking lot. OR maybe place an order, get a ticket, wait in car, and have it brought out for drink orders, but they need more than one worker for that. OR maybe a walk-up only would be the best option, so have people park and then they form a line in person. Any of those would mean no one is in the street.Basically the food and the service are amazing, but really wish they could work with the way their setup works.“

“This drive-thru is on my way to work and I get such great service I stop in most every day. Sometimes they're busy, but that's because they're popular. Coffee like I want it, and with good bagels and tasty breakfast burritos. Try the All Meats burrito and get that nice hit of chorizo flavor!“

If you like perfectly roasted beans, a ton of syrups, alternative milks, friendly people at any time of day, come try this place. They also sell those perfectly roasted beans per pound. They also have snacks, but I only go for the coffee and the service. “07/01/2023 around 10a:I was looking out for coffee stands on my way back home and decided to stop by. I got a strawbanana smoothie with protein, oat milk, vegan whip cream, and added vitamins with a breakfast (egg, cheese, and potato) burrito! Both of the food and drink was out-of-this-world and the customer service was very wholesome and endearing! Staff is very sweet, good vibes all-around, and a delight overall. “Stopped by while our kids were skating. Just a 5 min walk from the ice center. Service was very friendly and very dog friendly. Coffee was great and a nice covered seating area that is still outdoors so you can sit with your dog. Overall a spot we would definitely stop at again when in Bremerton.“
“This is my favorite coffee stand of all time. The employees are welcoming, friendly, familiar, and full of PNW spirit. I don't get to stop by nearly as often as I want, but every time I do is a great experience. The coffee itself and their drinks in general are just as excellent as their service. The only downside... the bees in the summer, but hey, they like the smell just as much as we do, so who can really blame them, and the team does a good job of keeping their mischief managed.“

Apparently, East Side Java is doing something right.My turn came, and I quickly ordered two 12oz nonfat cappuccinos. As she worked making them, other cars were piling up behind me, and on the other side, darn it, there were two drive-through lines; I could have used the other side! Anyway, only one person was working, but she appeared to be calm and chatty, had a great sense of humor and handled herself very well, in a matter of minutes I was on my way home!Our cappuccinos were delicious, smooth, no bitter after taste, not too acidic; this size of drink came with two shots, which generally kills the taste for me because it's typically just too strong, but not this time! Overall a delightful drink, and for $3.50 each, that seemed reasonable. I will compare it with another one at another shop some other time.And yes, sometime in the near future I will support this small business once again!!!``````````````````````````This afternoon I decided to stop at Eastside Java.Today isn't my first time stopping there, and although I did not purchase the first time, I did this time.The last time I was looking for a green tea frappuccino, and they did not offer that.Today I ordered an 8oz Americano. It has been a while since I have had an americano, so I can not confirm if $1.50 is a decent or high price for its size.The Americano was good in taste; the espresso wasn't so strong or acidic that it made me want to add more water but strong enough that I could enjoy the flavor. Americano is a great alternative to having just black coffee. The one thing that I noticed, there was no foul after taste that I have had in certain espressos in the past, and that is extremely important to me!The barista was friendly and chatty; she offered to double cup it because of how warm it was, so that was a nice jester!I like the fact that they purchase their beans within Washington State. The logo on their cups represent the company they purchase their beans from; DCR stands for Dillanos Coffee Roaster located in Sumner, WA.Depending on where you are coming from can depend on whether their location is handy or not.Eastside Java is a stand-alone coffee house that stands near the Chevron off Riddell and Wheaton Way in-fact they are between Chevron and Jack in the Box.They serve hot and cold drinks with a variety of baked goods.Their address is 4325 Wheaton Way in Bremerton WA.If you haven't experience Eastside Java, what is a better time than now to stop by, or you can order through Grubhub for delivery. “Not sharing for the Espresso! We shop here at the Red Apple Market regularly. Very Friendly and helpful local market. Can pick up about anything in your general grocery needs. They have some of the BEST fresh fruits and vegetables because they are Genuinely local!! They prices are a smidge higher than say Safeway or Fred Meyer, but they are a small local grocery and not able to buy on the same level. That said, the prices are GOOD.We go regularly and will continue to do so.“
