Reliable, affordable & polite staff that understand what curbside is. Chicken yakisoba & chicken fried rice are great and good portions too.

Tried Mum's for the first time yesterday. Not bad. I ordered a plate of Fish and Chips, Chicken Teriyaki and half Dozen Lumpia. The lumpia was small but very tasty. Also I think it was cooked perfectly for the size. (I would definitely order again). The Fish and Chips: The portion is really small. It comes in the old school red & white checked French Fry box that you would see at Crazy Eric's. Not a lot of fries and small pieces of fish. Overall it was okay but the tarter sauce was not to my liking. The Chicken Teriyaki: The presentation on this is good. The plate is full and looks great! The chicken has a hint or bbq flavor which is nice and the rice was your typical clumpy white rice. The salad I passed on. I don't like when it comes with dressing already on it. The teriyaki sauce however was different. Not sure what to think about this one. At first taste, it is your average teriyaki sauce but then there is an after taste. Not quite sure what the flavor is but the more I ate it, the more I realized I don't like the after taste. I assume the sauce is homemade and maybe the mixer went a little heavy on an ingredient. But I could be totally wrong. Overall I would eat here again. It was really good for the price. FYI: Not the dine in type of place. There are boxes everywhere.

Excellent food. Traditional Phillipino food cooked correctly. Adobo and vegetables, fresh, tasty. Quick service. Nice local family.

We spent NYE 2022 in Bremerton (were from Hawaii!) and was craving homemade Filipino Shanghai and lumpia. Our usual spot was closed so we decided to give Mum's a try. We were impressed and found a new spot to order from now on! Freshly fried, crispy and very flavorful! The next time we're in town, we'll definitely try out other things on their menu.

Fish and chips were really good, the highlight being the batter for the fish it’s so light and crispy it’s perfectly done and lumpia solid too lots of flavor honestly one of the better places like this ! Will go again

For you folks that grew up with good home cooked filipino food, don't even bother with this place. The chicken adobo was a joke and the lumpia was (limp and greasy) awful. Maybe their fish and chips is better.

A pretty bad example of Filipino food with surprisingly good reviews.I was getting some work done in the area and popped in for food. I ordered two classics, Chicken Pancit and Turon. The Turon were good and I was surprised you got 4 entire lumpia in a single order. The Pancit was pretty bad all in all. There wasn't much chicken in the dish and it was packed with celery. So much celery that it may as well have been called a celery Pancit. The rice side was generous but as my mixtures show it was wildly over cooked. The entire scoop of rice was one solid mass which only happens in bulk cooks which sit around.Pass.

Happy so far.The teriyaki was bomb. The lumpia was good.Generous portions. Will be back and will update accordingly.

Here we have another tasty example of a locally owned restaurant offering a better product at a lower price than the big chain restaurants. I haven't tried Mum's full menu nor do I ever intend to. Here I'm focused on fish & chips, and they don't disappoint. The fish is cooked to perfection with a light crispy crust. An ample sized portion at that. I finished two large pieces before I even paused to have a look and a taste of the tartar sauce which itself Had a moist creamy texture with just enough flavor and not too much. And the side of coleslaw? I've never been caught bragging about anyone's coleslaw, but a nice sized portion of very moist and slightly sweet coleslaw came standard with the fish and chips order. If I had to find something to complain about, my french fries weren't super warm or crispy by the time I got home with a take out order, but that's not a fair evaluation to make on a take-out order. At the time this review is written, take out orders are all that are available due to the Covid situation. In summary, I have found my go to place for fish and chips in Bremerton.

We ordered the KareKare with rice. The flavor of the karekare was fairly decent, nothing to complain about that part. However, the 2 stars is because 1 order was about $15 and it only had one piece of oxtail, and a good chunk was fat. The main problem was the rice wasn't cooked properly. It was still hard, and kinda feels like it was soaked for too long. For the price, I cannot give this my greatest opinion.

I think that the assortment of food that we have ordered in the past has been ok/good. We went there specifically to try Filipino food. I have no reference point to say that it was good or bad compared to other Filipino food as it is the only place that we have been. I thought the food was good, it came hot and well seasoned.
