“We stopped in while running errands and decided to get the fish sandwich and a cup of chowder. It was fairly busy but we were able to get our order in right away. The fish sandwich was served hot and so was the chowder and we didn't have to wait long at all! We also ordered a quart of chowder to go. Like the Chowder House in Des Moines great food and exceptional service!“

“This is such a good spot to sit and grab pizza outside after a hike or camping trip. The pizzas are creative and tasty, the dough is just the right balance of crunch and chewy. It's also great for takeout and walk every to Fills for a beer.“

“Great pho! I'd drive from Bonnylake for the pho and the crepes! Probably the cleanest restaurant, I've ever been to! I love to just order the pho broth for my morning broth. Great for people who are trying to get some muscle recovery. Service is nice and friendly!“

“This is the best Mexican restaurant we’ve experienced on the plateau! We tried a variety of dishes and all were flavorful and fresh; we could tell they were using quality ingredients. Don’t skip the mole or the pozole as these were absolutely delicious. So many Mexican restaurants in our area are bland and rely on covering dishes in cheese but this wasn’t the case here! They don’t need to as everything had a depth of spices and flavors that set it all apart. The service was also a highlight, friendly and fast and they gave us a deep fried ice cream dessert just because it was our first time in. Overall had a great experience and we look forward to coming back again. Support this local business!“

“Have tried Okasan before so this review is overdue. They have pretty good chicken katsu and spicy teriyaki. Those are our go tos. Teriyaki is spicy, but the katsu is decently crispy. Service continues to be quick and prepare the food in the time they provide. They are also generous with the amount theyre giving. Overall, we will continue to visit.“

“One of our local go-to's. Unfortunately when they get busy dishes pile up on the bar and service suffers. Food is always pretty good and they have the best onion rings I've ever had. The curry muscles are great and provide a great dipping sauce for the onion rings.“

“Have not had a bad pizza from this place yet. I get a Sausage, Meatball & Garlic thin crust pizza. They are generous with the garlic which is a huge plus for me. I hate paying for garlic on my pizza and not being able to taste it. They are generous with all the toppings to be honest. Thin crust was nice and thin and crisp after I tossed it back in the oven for a couple minutes. Didn't need to be put back in the oven, that's just how I like it. I prefer pizza to be crisp and piping hot. Prices are fair in my opinion as well.“

My whole family loves Ichi 5, it's our favorite place for teriyaki in Bonney Lake & Lake Tapps, including the "other Ichi" restaurant located in Lakeland Hills. Their signature dish is the Kettle muffin - we tried the blueberry. They were definitely oversized and had all this delightful crunchy/chewy "overspill" that really made them special. Service is good and the notes about scale of heat remain the same. Some reviews said best heat level is 3,on scale of 5. I think 3 is a bit too much would suggest 2 able to taste all the flavors in the dish.“

“I had Honto Teriyaki cater an event for me. It was for over 40 people. I chose a wide variety of food. It was excellent! Food was hot, tasty, and everyone had seconds. It was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They made sure everything was to my satisfaction. All of my guests loved the food. I have been to this restaurant and eaten there in person a few times. Again food is incredible. The restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. It is very comfortable setting to have dinner with your family. “A true dive bar with great chicken wings. After a long hike near the small town of Wilkinson this is a great stop. Surly service as it should in a dive bar- don't take it personally... old wood floors and photos from the timber days decorate the walls. Did the cook wash his hands? Who knows. Don't think about it too much and enjoy the food Avoid the burgers though ... that's a no on burgers- yes on wings“

“I loved the spicy teriyaki because it was the perfect amount of heat and the chicken breast with spicy sauce added was good too and it was chili sauce poured over the chicken. The fried rice and brown rice were good but I think I figured out I like my teriyaki with white sticky rice. I plan on eating here more in the future.“
