First of all let me tell you that this is nowhere gourmet food. This has been in Bucoda For well over a hundred years. They have great homemade hamburgers and they have french fries from scratch. Children are welcome to come in. However they do have a separate bar area for adult beverages. I will say the food that they have is your typical comfort food. But many locals hang out and we'll tell you a tale or two about this town. The employees are very polite.
For being one of their busiest days of the season they were holding up very well considering they only had one full time server, and the owner was taking up some of the slack as a secondary server.The food was tasty (I've never had a Patty melt that was that wasn't dripping with grease, before now. It was great. ) the burger dip was great too.
