Found it on our way home. Great restaurant right in downtown Chihalis. Never been in this town. Looks like a good place to stop and enjoy the shops. The food was great. I had a salmon sandwhich and chili bowl. The restaurant has little stores and has lots of things displayed. It seems very popular.
Simply the best diner in Chehalis. The log-cabin meets beach-house country-store vibes this restaurant gives you is very homey. The staff make you feel like you're part of their family :-)Oh and that food!! Daaaaang!! My fave: Hot Reuben Cheeseburger with steak fries and their homemade bleu cheese dressing that is better than your Mom's cooking. Almost everything is homemade, home-sliced, homecooked in the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Many flavors of ice cream and shakes

A very nice little sandwich shop, which also serves burgers and other things. Had Clam Chowder, a very delicious Ruben and curly fries. They were also offering a salmon patty sandwich for the special of the day. Gonna have to try that next time around as I WILL be going back. The only downfall is pricing.
