We stopped here on our drive from Seattle to Portland. I got 2 tacos (steak and chicken) to keep me going for the drive. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I must have said “yum” about 10 times while eating. We’ll keep this place in mind as a good break point for future trips. It was also fun to see more of downtown Chehalis. It is a charming town.
Good food, good service, good prices.Lolita had a large menu at inexpensive prices, including some dishes I wasn't familiar with, such as the huarache. I ended up getting the huarache con pescado, a dish made of two very tasty oblong tortillas sandwiching a thin layer of pinto bean paste and then topped with lettuce and your choice of one of several meats. Delicious food. Not only do they make their own tortillas. They make them when you place your order. I had chicken enchiladas with the green sauce. So good! Red sauce was an option, too. Nice family owned place.
