Thomas Hammer Coffee might have made me the worst cup of coffee I have ever experienced. I am a student at EWU, and occasionally I like to go down to the Library to get a cup of coffee. Typically my cup is smooth and delicious. But today, they made me the worst cup of coffee and I don't understand why? I asked for a 20 oz Americano, with Cream (not 2%) and Raspberry flavoring. When I received my cup, it had almost no cream and was barely flavored. When I sipped it, it tasted like someone pissed in it (I like Black Coffee by the way). Honestly, I wish I had gone down there and asked for my money back because I regret having spent $7 on a gross cup of coffee. The nasty drip at Dutch Bros is better than this, and I'm sad to see that. This experience simply ruined it for me. From now on, I will be bringing a thermos with my own coffee blends from home, and ditch spending any money on behalf of convenience. This was so sad for me.

I stood in line for 10 minutes, the barista saw me. Then told me she couldn't serve me without a mask. Why couldn't she tell me before? Would have saved me time, and her a bad review. She didn't have any to give out either. I don't carry one anymore, since 99% of places are back to normal.

First off this is the speediest service I have ever gotten from ordering something online. I Literally ordered my coffee online two days ago in the dead of night as a “ treat yo self” thing. Not even two days later UPS comes and throws the coffee at me and I’m like ??? And he’s drives off without another word. I can immediately smell the coffee from the box and groan because surely it must be open. No, it’s just that fragment.

The business is great and the server is amazing however they do not enforce the mask mandate. We just visited at 0620 today and there were three men being served without masks! They obviously thought we were comical as we were following the strict guidelines and caring about others because they were staring and laughing. Beware of this place if you want to prevent catching Covid.

The lady who took our order was beyond sweet and greeted us right when we arrived. She asked my daughter if she wanted whipped cream on her drink and my daughter said yes. A second lady rung us up and was more or less nice. When we got our drinks my daughters didn't have whipped cream she asked for. I asked for them to add whipped cream like my daughter requested. The lady who made our drinks wasn't around anymore and the lady who rung us up said it would cost extra. I wasn't about to put .60 cent on my credit card after we already paid, and I didn't have cash on me. It felt like poor communication on their part not to add the charge for the whipped cream as requested, now making it our problem and that we were being a hassle-Felt let down.

I don’t live near a Thomas Hammer so I don’t get in often, but I recently went to a dentist appointment down by Mead HS and had the most delicious Jack Hammer and shortbread with a lemon glaze. Absolutely delicious and the service is always great

Love the fact that they have a mocha with orange syrup (The Fireball). This, to me, is just a perfect mix of coffee flavors and should be on every cafe menu. They even make it iced (which I drink year-round). My only knock on them is when they were mixing our iced Americanos, they used tap water from a sink labeled for "washing hands only." It didn't really impact the quality of the drinks but would rather see them using some filtered water or at least remove the sign above the sink. lol
