“Drove from Puyallup to Burien to pick up father in law and out to this Sunset Cafe in Cle Elum to change things up and eat breakfast and it was the best idea! Food was delicious, drinks were great and well priced. Atmosphere feels like home. The Bumble Pie is to die for ! I will be going back “
“We went for a Valentine's Day supper. The place was decorated beautifully for the holiday. We got a high top table out in the live music area, with a great view of the golf course. We had great service, the food was delicious! and the music was beautiful soft jazz (think Michael Bublè).“
“Was able to get an early reservation for a Saturday. We visited with another family who recommended the Coal Chute. Parking was easy. Park anywhere in front or side of what looked to be a converted house to restaurant.Service was good and attentive. We were seated in the front dining area and it was too noisy even at capacity. Food didn’t take as long as expected since we’re expecting to wait since that was what the other reviews stated. It was nice that they had a kids menu. The food was good. Fresh and hot. Only negatives were a fry burger probably due to being part buffalo and slightly on the pricey side for being in Roslyn. We did end up with a lot of fries since everything came with them. I did appreciate the option of show string fries and thick fries and being able to sub for salad, soup, or sweet potato fries. I’d recommend the thick fries.Overall, it was a nice meal with friends and service was always there when you needed.Dietary restrictions: They checked with kitchen to verify ingredients since we had a child with food allergies.Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu.“
“Amazing hidden gem! The food was delightful but the service is what really impressed my family and I. Jodie was accommodating, quick, kind, and cheerful. While I haven’t golfed here, my dad said it’s one of his favorite courses. Can’t wait to be back in town to visit!“
“Since they only accepted reservations, we walked up the bar. Our party consisted of six. We ended up being split, and over time, we were able to gather together. The bar tenders, Cole and Jake, were the best! They were friendly and courteous, and their service was excellent!“
“Lovely Christmas ambience, fire places, butter in the shape of a Christmas wreath to go with bread bowl, skirt steak delicious w asparagus & mashed potatoes! Kid friendly, spacious, there is a kids menu. Generous portions. Hand crafted cocktails very good quality ! Waiters there are very caring & high attention to detail. Feels like a cozy ski lodge. ❄️❤️❄️“
“Cool little old pub in Roslyn, oldest still running saloon on the west coast apparently. Couple of pool tables. Good food. The brisket sandwich was great. Employees were all very nice and service was good. The atmosphere was great. Feels there's been a lot of good times in that bar. Lots of good vibes! Go check it out.“
“It’s l so so good! Get a jam pot from the pasty selection for sure, if they have one. The food is all delicious, you can’t go wrong. The service is friendly and kind. Everything is great quality, from the brand of coffee they use to the jam for the bread. The toast and sweet potato hash are both really Idelicious! I could go on and on, we love everything we get here and come multiple times when we are in town.“
“Its so cool to know this was the town that the television show "Northern Exposure! was filmed! Renamed "Sicily Alaska" for the show....the opening credits show the painting on the wall "Roslyn's cafe"!Joel Fleischman's pickup truck was often seen driving down Pennsylvania Ave. during the series!“
“Went in on Friday night and the service was great ,waitress was polite and made sure we didn't have to ask for anything. The food was excellent. I can't stress how good it was, the pulled pork was delicious with large portions and was so good. The manager walked by greeted us and invited us to come back next time. The lady that sat us also gave my grandchildren a dollar each for candy in the machine because she thought they were well behaved while we were there. I will be back they deserve 10 stars. This is a fantastic restaurant.“
“This must be the best kept secret in Roslyn (in fact WA). It’s obvious the chef can cook. I order the loaded Grilled Cheese with Fries and my birding friend ordered their Cheeseburger. Portions are large, well prepared and presented with a flair. ?“
“We love snowmobiling out of the last resort! We have always received excellent service! The mechanics that take care of the sleds are wonderful! The ladies at the front desk are wonderful! the last resort always has the best non-ethanol fuel ⛽️ new pump and wonderful staff in the convenient store! I am always recommending the last resort to all of my friends. Thank you guys for always being wonderful and taking good care of us! Whether it’s snowmobile, season or boating season, they’re always there to take care of you year-round !“
“Today was our first visit and the food was excellent. We were heading home to Moses Lake after a wonderful camping weekend with our 4 grands. When it was time to pay the waitress said someone bought your meal - it’s all covered. We were stunned. What a way to end our weekend and thank you to the person who did something very kind and nice today. We will do the same the next time we stop to eat here. Paying it forward can be a cliche until it’s done to you - it’s humbling and gives you a warm glow all day. Vicki Newton“
