“I've been going here for several years, have always gotten the same thing; Beef pad Thai. The only Thai restaurant I ever go to on the regular. The Employees and Owner are extremely polite and service is quick. Inside is always clean and welcoming. I've noticed that most of the negative reviews come from online or pick up orders, so I'd recommend dining in if you want it to be worth your while.“
“My first time at the Covington location. I came solo today for happy hour. Arrived just after they started and the place was about 70% full. I got a a seat at the almost full counter top right away.My house hot sake came quickly and service began immediately.Mathew was my sushi chef today! He let me know it was his third week, that he's been working for trappers but he's been with another sushi restaurant for awhile and wow he's got some skill! Every plate was beautiful and tasted amazing! Trappers you should count yourself lucky for having this guy on your team!Dragon warm toast on the eel sets this one off! what can I say, I'm a sucker for spicy and creamy, nice crunch and presentation.Mason made my last one for me, thecaptain crunch light and on the sweeter side.Definitely would come back to this location any time!“
“This is my favorite sushi place in the south sound area! They have a great selection of rolls: I recommend the salmon lover, blue fin Hawaiian, super bad boy, rainbow, and more. I also really enjoy their soft shell crab, miso, and gyoza. I’ve been here many times and they’re always fast and friendly, and the sushi is consistently very good. Highly recommend.“
“Din Tai Fung is a great place for drinks and yummy food with friends. Always busy, you need a reservation if you want a seat without waiting too long. And don't be late or you will lose it.So many delicious options. The DTF Old Fashioned is very special with an oolong tea syrup. Wood ear mushrooms in vinegar dressing, Shanghai rice cakes, and Xaio Long Bao soup dumplings are standouts. Hot and sour soup is also delicious. Not shown is the fresh orange green iced tea with boba: very refreshing and not too sweet, the flavor of the jasmine green tea shines through highlighted by the orange juice. Highly recommend any of the locations for a fun and delicious meal.PS If you found this review helpful, please heart it. Thank you!“
“I always pass this place on my way to work but since that part of Kent is zombie land I avoid going to any business there. I am glad I took the chance and didn't let the tweeker in the parking lot deter me. The service was fast, place clean, and food delicious.“
“The service is amazing, the hostess was so nice and welcoming. We ordered pad thai, pad see ew, and fresh spring rolls. While the portions were plentiful and some of the most generous I’ve seen, the pad see ew was disappointing. It lacked sauce and flavor and was more soft than fried. But it may be because I was playing it safe and got 4 out of 15 stars (I had no idea what the 15-star system was ordering online) so next time I will try bumping up the spice. However the spring rolls were amazing!“
“Always open like their hours say and ALWAYS high quality teriyaki. It is My favorite Teriyaki place in south center/ Seattle area. When I first moved here many teriyaki places had poor quality consistently across the board or closed really early. Thanks you guys ?“
“This is a small restaurant affixed to the Fred Meyer building. I visited J's during the early afternoon and was pleased to see that there were a handful of lunch specials.I ordered General Tso's and teriyaki chicken combo with white rice. The portion size was generous and the food was amazingly fresh and delicious. The Tso's was delightfully crunchy and actually spicy, while the teriyaki was perfectly seared. The hostess was very friendly and kind, and the overall environment was clean. I absolutely plan to return here soon.“
“This is our go to Thai restaurant. We're very lucky to live so close. We love to dine in or take out. They haven't had an actual bar in a long time, I think something mentions their liquor license. Somehow we've been many times when it's not busy, which shocks me since we love their food. The staff is friendly and restaurant is clean. We have kids so don't order spicy items, our go to our chicken pad Thai, Panag curry and all the apps!“
“My husband and I come here often and we've never had a bad experience. There's never been more than a ten minute wait for a table and the food always comes out fast! When ordering you mark a menu card and they bring out the different shareable dishes as they're ready and staff consistently clears away empty dishes and checks on your table. We always order a bit too much and end up overstuffed at the end of our meal, so I definitely recommend coming hungry!“
“We have eaten here a few times. They are often very busy, so we usually order ahead for takeout. So far, we have enjoyed nearly everything we've eaten. The chicken is quite tasty, sometimes a bit overcooked, but not often. Some of the more Chinese foods have been really good. The fried rice could use a few more spices, it's a bit bland, but we have some sauces that bring it up to our standard for taste. Lots of variety,so we seldom order the same thing, so we can sample different dishes. Good place. We have been at off hours and the ambiance is pretty friendly.“
“Love this place, their teriyaki and lemon chicken combo is delicious, as is their almond chicken. And the portions are huge, I get 2 meals out of one entree. Service is always quick and friendly, I’ve never had to wait more than 20 minutes for food. We’ve eaten here at least 10 times and will keep coming back.“
“I live about 20 minutes away but was nearby and decided to bring some home for dinner. Wow. Surprisingly good food on all 4 dishes the family tried. They clearly have an attention to detail, quality, and ingredients. Everything was quite good and I’ll definitely be making the trek over when time and circumstance permits.“
“The new owners have done an AMAZING job with the menu and food!! Lately it seems sushi has been small and underwhelming. I'm seriously impressed with the larger portions and quality at this hidden gem! Not only do they have teriyaki and sushi they also have Indian food! Although it was my first experience with such, I can't wait to go back! It was delicious!! There really is something for EVERYONE! Bonus the owners are super nice!“
“My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The staff is always very helpful. And the food is good. They always have nice calm piano music playing in the background. I dislike that the chairs move around when people sit in them on the other side. Other than that everything's great.“
“Worth the drive. Menu selection is not as extensive as others but it's peppered with enough favorites at reasonable prices. I ordered the dinuguan with rice and tokwa baboy (tofu & pork) . Both had the right touch of sour especially the tokwa. Definitely better than Maxim.“
“Second time ordering from this place and it was delicious! Somehow even better the second time. Portions are fantastic and I made more than 1 meal out of my dish, people are friendly, place is cute and clean, and bonus that it's close to home! Adding this to one of my restaurant staples!“
“My wife and I just had lunch at this restaurant and were both very pleased. We were greeted immediately by a young man who was always smiling and whistling. We both got some egg noodle soups; I got combination and my wife got seafood. They were both delicious and very filling. I looked at other people's dishes and they looked good too! For the two of us, the bill was ~$30, which is reasonable for the amount of food we got. If you're considering, don't be intimidated by the authenticity - walk in and enjoy something!“
“We moved to the area recently, and I had been wanting to find a new favorite Thai spot. Didn't think I'd find one THIS good. I don't know what took me so long to try it! Walking in, the restaurant is VERY nice - not what I was expecting for some reason. It's cozy, dimly lit, feels higher-end with lots of wood detail, roomy larger booths for big groups, jazz playing overhead, very clean. The menus have excellent pictures of the dishes, so you aren't left guessing or relying on customer photos online. Reasonably priced dishes. Service was fast and friendly. I was surprised they weren't busier on a weekday at dinner time - though I did notice many to-go orders being picked up. My husband nearly always orders fried rice at Thai restaurants, but I forced him to go with something new that looked tasty - crispy garlic chicken. It looked just as good as the pics, AND TASTED AMAZING. He was VERY happy with his choice, and ordered a side of jasmine rice. Ate every bite. We also ordered the fresh rolls w/ prawns - as we do at every Thai restaurant. I loved them, but the hubby has a texture issue with certain noodles, and these were a bit "gummy" for his taste. LOL More for ME! (they were good!) I ordered my standard Phad See Ew w/ beef, 2 stars. SUPER tasty! ... just typing this up, I'm salivating and ready to go back for more! Do yourself a favor and dine-in here. Great Thai food!“
“This is one of thee best places I think I've ever eaten at!!! I had leftovers for about 3 days!! I think I enjoy being part of my food making process. Picking my own veggies and how much I want on my plate. Choosing my own sauces and how much I want. Choosing my own best level. Smh I was very excited to see all my pickings go on the flat grill to be cooked. I was so excited I couldn't finish the whole plate!! I'll come here 20 times over any restaurant!! Clean dining area, clean bathrooms, friendly enough staff. Very affordable prices! I would suggest the large bowl if you want to take it home otherwise choose something smaller.“
