Now here is something that is sorely lacking around Western Washington, good BBQ. The BBQ here is hands down the best I've had in the state. From the corned beef to their wagyu burger, there is not one bad thing to get on this menu! And what is good BBQ without good sides? I wouldn't know because Amarillo has some of the most amazing sides. The place is small, but has enough seating to fit around 20 or so people. The people that run it are extremely friendly and super welcoming, just like a BBQ place should be Overall, you need to try this place out now. You won't regret it, unless they run out of your favorite dish :)

I have been coming here since they opened in Duvall. The staff are always awesome and will do anything to make your day better with BBQ. The food is great, bbq always tender and juicy. I am mostly ambivalent on the sauce but my family loves it. Most nights they still have plenty of meats even an hour before closing. Online order ahead!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns for your pulled pork sandwich!

The pig poppers were a delightful surprise with their crispy exterior and savory filling, while the ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. A mouthwatering experience that left us craving more!

I stopped in here because the place I was going to was closed. I had the pulled pork sandwich. I admit to being a BBQ snob. So temper my eval as you wish. The staff was friendly. Portion to price ratio was good. The pork was good for the PNW. I'm always hoping for an OMG moment when trying a new BBQ place, but rarely get one in this state. Alder wood does not equal Amarillo, but they did have Shiner on tap.Edit/correction: My apologies, I mis-remebered the wood used for the smoke. I'm old and senile. As the owner replied, they used hickory and that is very Amarillo.

Overall very happy with everything. We ordered 2 brisket sandwiches which were very tasty. Brisket was delicious and beef/bbq sauce/bun ratio was perfect. We also ordered some sliced turkey which may be a new menu item and it was delicious. Next time I will get a turkey sandwich. Generous portions for the sides. Interior is cozy, clean and nicely decorated. Only minor gripe is sandwich size. I wish it was a bit bigger but this is a universal complaint to every restaurant I go to anymore. I will definitely be back to try some more stuff.

Recently came in during a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. No one was here so service was prompt. I'm always a hesitant to order BBQ in Seattle, especially at smaller restaurants because it's hard to keep meat juicy and warm for so long. When I ordered, I immediately realized prices were a little high for a single person, probably better suited for sharing. Ordered a 1/4 lb of brisket, potato salad, and cornbread. The sides were actually pretty good, the potato salad had chunks of bacon and was tasty, cornbread was also great with their honey. And the brisket was a little disappointing as the middle was soft but not super tender. The outside had a bit harder chunks that wasn't great to taste. I don't think I'd get this again but would try the other meats. And they don't have any water dispensers (yet) so you have to pay for water and it ended up costing nearly $30 in total w/ tip for a single person.Given I only tried the brisket (which I don't think I'd get again), i'd give this place a 3.5 because the sides were good and service was quick. I'd try the other meats before having a final verdict for myself. Maybe it tastes better when it's busy and they're going through meat quicker. I hope I get proven wrong if/when I come back and try again.

We were curious about this restaurant for a while since we recently moved to the area. I'm very happy we stopped by for sandwiches. Everyone was so friendly and food was great! I had the Reuben sandwich and would definitely recommend!

Amarillo BBQ catered our office Christmas party. This was a great experience. The business manager, Brandon, was super helpful during the planning, and even came up with extra suggestions to accommodate our dietary requirements. They delivered and set up the food, exactly as they said they would and made the whole thing very easy. Most importantly the food was excellent. Despite sitting in chaffing dishes for almost an hour everything was hot, delicious and not at all dry. The spicy BBQ sauce that came with it is definitely my new favorite. I highly recommend them if you are catering an event, and I personally can't wait to go to the restaurant for more!!!

Guys running the counter were really nice and friendly. Ready to answer questions. Really started whole visit positive and wonderful. We drove out from Sultan to hit Taylor Ridge for some Christmas light viewing and decided to stop in and try the new place! It's really cute inside very western Texas style. Loved it! Good was really good. Like really good! We will be back!

Food was good. A very tender smoked pastrami & the beans were excellent. I've never been in a restaurant though where I couldn't get a free cup of water with my meal. Only bottled water sold. Not sure I'll return if a restaurant won't spend a little money on a large Igloo cooler of water for their patrons.

The best bbq in the land! So great! My husband and I are trying everything on the menu (life goals!), nothing has been subpar so far. In fact, it keeps getting better and better. There might be some crack in that cornbread though so watch out. And if you love it as much as we do, be sure to get the cornbread strawberry shortcake for dessert. We moved to this area over 10 years ago from Omaha Nebraska ... so we've been eating Amarillo BBQ for decades now, and we are so happy that it's only a few minutes away from our house now. The staff is amazingly friendly, and the food is something we crave every week. It's a borderline addiction. Bonus : there is a Nebraska license plate with 311 on it... If you know, you know! See you next week, Amarillo!!
