“This is some seriously good sushi. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and the presentation is perfect. Def the best caterpillar roll I’ve eaten and I’ve eaten a lot in my lifetime, Spicy Girl was top notch too. 100% the best sushi in eastern Washington.“

“Beautiful restaurant with attentive and knowledgeable staff. They also are very accommodating about allergies and can tell you if something contains your allergen. Their seafood is always so fresh and all their food I’ve tried has been amazing. As someone with severe allergies I appreciate how good they are with allergies as well. I grew up in Hawaii with fresh seafood and high quality sushi/poke and eating at Iwa reminds me of home.Dietary restrictions: They are knowledgeable and accommodating with allergens.“

“I went here a LOT years ago and liked it. Then went here a couple of years ago, and the service and sushi was bad. They gave us a gift card as a refund for one of the rolls. Fast forward to today, I finally decided to just use the gift card and went in. I was impressed. The ambiance was back, the workers seemed to actually care about their jobs, and the food was good and fairly priced. Now I want to go back again, haha.“

“Plenty of seating in this small teriyaki joint. Place your order at the counter, fill your drink, and find a table or counter where they bring your food to you.Service was great. The cashier was personable and fast. The food came out in under 5 minutes. The chicken teriyaki and egg roll combo was the special of the day at 10.99, and I'd pay that again for the portion and taste. The chicken was a little tough but not unbearably so. The teriyaki sauce was slightly too salty with less sweet than I prefer, and I am a fan of salt. I'd recommend getting spicy teriyaki to curb the overreaching salinity with a little heat. The rice was typical of any teriyaki restaurant you'll find in the PNW. Soft, sticky, willing to absorb any sauce that finds its way off the chicken.Egg roll was crispy and, when paired with the sweet sauce it came with, I can't find a fault to it. It was what I'd expect for the price.Salad/slaw was underwhelming and I wish I had requested to leave it off the plate. It was thrown away at the end of the meal. All things considered, I could see coming back here if I was really jonesing for some teriyaki and wanted it fast for prices that match the area.“
