We had the best meal we’ve had in a long time at Monti. We are on the island celebrating my wife’s birthday and this was the perfect meal. The pommes panisse was insane. The paparadelle was so good. The N.A. cocktails were phenomenal. Definitely worth your time and money to have this truly special dining experience.

The best spot on the island for a date night, catching up with friends, or having a solo drink and pasta. The cocktails are creative, thoughtful and fun, the sexy ambiance could almost convince you that you’re in the city, and the food is perfect for either a meal or snack time. Super fun spot with a great vibe!

The staff was so delightful. We had two servers, both Saras, and they were incredible in their own ways. They made our anniversary dinner truly special. The food was delicious. We especially loved the rigatoni lamb ragu and the cod croquettes. The design of the space elevates the whole experience to the next level. I highly recommend dining here!

Delicious meal that was unexpectedly filling! We had the chicken liver/ tomato starter, the smoked cod croquette, and the pork belly dish. Special shout out to the super juicy and flavored tomatoes and the beans/ sides when eaten together with the pork belly! Super tender, balanced the fattiness of the pork without being too sour. I would say that the dining area felt more like a bar than a restaurant, which is fine if it was a starter only bar, but we enjoyed our experience anyways!

First visit and I'm smitten. Great decor and service, but the meal really distinguished itself. First course was a fennel shaved salad with exceptional flavor - don't be dissuaded by the reference to anchovy dressing - it works magnificently and nothing overpowers. The chicken liver with summer tomatoes was magnificent, even if they needed an extra slice of sourdough to finish the plate. The star was the roasted pork belly. I've had many in my day but this was the crown jewel of belly's - succulent, tender inside and crispy edges, and the flavor was off the chart delicious. Rigatoni with lamb did not disappoint and pasta was cooked to perfection.Saved room for chocolate mousse and it was excellent and not too sweet. Wine pairings supported the wonderful meal.I look forward to returning and trying all the dishes we didn't select. This place has it over Rosario and Madrona. Your wallet will be lighter but not unreasonably so.

Ambiance, food, service - I can't even. This place is magical and the head chef is 22 years old. How is that even possible? We worked our way up and down the menu and nothing disappointed. The bread is outstanding. The drinks are creative and boozy. The small plates are incredibly balanced. The pasta dishes are to die for. Five stars.

Wannabe Worldschoolers

What a lovely surprise to see the transformation from Roses bakery to Monti’s restaurant. The ambiance is incredible, food is delicious, and the service was attentive. Our only feedback is that the there should be an even number of croquettes for sharing, either 2 or 4, the dessert could have been a lesser serving, and the servers should have more comprehension of their wine list. (Our server was fantastic and allowed us to try different wines to be sure to get the right one) Everything was truly fantastic!
