“What a great little place!I went for a drive and decided as I passed by to check it out. Had a small (8”) pepperoni and chicken asked for a bit heavier sauce, they nailed it. Had a cider as well and it was all for $16. Listening to some SirusXM 90’s rock hits gazing out the window. The gal working was great at explaining the tap menu, checked in on me mid way thru to see if everything was okay. (I find this perfectly acceptable)Nice place for a lunch date or just a break away. Is on the cooler side inside-comfortable for me but those who get cold easily bring a jacket/hoodie.Booth has room for a bigger person to sit comfortably, there is a community table with chairs as well.I’ll be back for sure. Today’s view was cloudy but I’m sure on a clear sunny day it’s amazing!Kid-friendliness: Some arcade games inside. TVs with sports playing and music on.“

“Dinner in a railroad car, that doesn't require tickets or reservations? Sign me up! Who cares if it's not chugging along on the tracks?Sure, a meal-on-the-go is certainly something to experience, but the Mount Rainier Railroad Dining is *so* much more accessible. Serving up large portions at slightly inflated prices, by slightly-aloof servers, this long, narrow diner is precisely 50% of the reason anyone would ever come to visit the tiny town of Elbe (the other half being the Hobo Inn, a hotel that is an extension of the restaurant).Avoid the Bloody Mary, as it is watery and unimpressive. Similarly, if the soup du jour is chicken egg-drop, give it a pass as well. Conversely, the Bacon Bleu Cheeseburger and the Fish and Chips are both fantastic, so the pub grub here comes highly recommended. So don't jump the tracks and try something unusual, and you're sure to have a thoroughly enjoyable meal! And remember, this is a train, so don't forget to CHEW CHEW!Parking: Free parking. EV charging station out front.“

“First visit to my fiancé's hometown. I have been hearing about this spot and especially their root beer on tap for quite a while. Everything delivered. Great food at a reasonable price. Club sandwich was solid. Shrimp and chips were awesome. I failed to get the bar tenders name (petite brunette) , but damn she hustled. Handled the bar and the room (drink and food orders) with ease. A true professional. Friendly and a great attitude. Open kitchen allowed me to watch the food being prepared. Great cook who handled everything with ease and proper standards and systems. I am an executive chef, so I know a thing or two about kitchens and restaurants. (wink)It was nice to see all of the personal touches from the regulars (signed dollar bills, license plates, photos, etc.) Can't wait to return. Great small town vibe and folks.Parking: Fills up when crowded, but not too bad really.“

“Quiet little spot with awesome food. We tried a few things and all of it had great flavor and was well done. My son ordered pizza and a taco salad. The southwest sauce they serve as a dressing is delicious and perfect for the salad. My husband did spicy honey wings that were so good! My pulled pork Mac and cheese was delicious. We also did a big kahuna pizza and it was super good. We will be back!“
