“I hired Laura to prepare meals for a knitting retreat near Mount Rainier. She easily created a menu that took into account a variety of dietary restrictions -- no small feat! She and Chef Athena came early on Monday to prepare all the meals and snacks through breakfast Thursday. They helped us with the service for dinner Monday and then left clearly labeled trays with instructions for any of the dishes that needed to be reheated. The food was all incredibly delicious! I especially loved the lemon lavender cake and the Chicken Marbella with olives and prunes. I would not hesitate to hire Honest To Goodness for a future event and wished I lived in Seattle and could take advantage of their regular services.“

“We hired Down to Earth Cuisine for our January micro wedding in Leavenworth. We did a buffet style dinner and every single dish was AMAZING. The owner is so personable and helpful. The first time we talked on the phone was 30+ minutes and he wanted to know about us, what kind of food we liked, where we were from etc. We had chefs Tom and Melissa the day of the wedding and they were so great. They were personable and their food was top notch. I didn’t get to eat the appetizers they had prepared for the rest of our guests because we were taking photos and they packaged some leftovers meticulously and set them aside for us! All our guests had nothing but great things to say about their interactions with them and their meal they prepared for us. This company was so great to work with. I definitely recommend hiring them for your event!“

Right on time. All of the serving platters and displays were exceptional. They showed genuine compassion after my wife’s mother passed away. “We had their thanksgiving dinner for 8-10 which had plenty of food. The scalloped and sweet potato sides were excellent. We were a little disappointed in the collard greens, but their smoked turkey and pecan pie made up for any shortcomings. We had 7 adults and 4 kids and still ended up with plenty of leftovers. We'll definitely be getting it again next year.“

“I remember coming here in the 90s as a kid and it was one of my favorite restaurants. We felt nostalgic one night and decided to bring our kids here. I loved that they still have the cream sodas with the souvenir glass. My son loves trains so he was thrilled to sit in the trolley. Fantastically priced kids menu- so much food for under 10 dollars. I am not a big pasta person so I ordered a combo of sides - chicken breast and Brocolli to feel semi-healthy. Husband had plenty of food. Prompt and friendly service. All in all, a great family night out at the type of restaurants that I used to go to with my parents. I miss places like this and will support in the future!“
