I finally made it to The Hook after meaning to go for a long time. I can definitely say I will be back! I had the Crab Melt lunch special with chowder, which admittedly is not the most aesthetically pleasing dish. But what counts is taste & it was great! Their chowder is nice and I'm hoping to drop in when the Manhattan Stew is on the menu. Excellent service & nice clean space. Go there!

I really enjoy this place for happy hour (3-5) and watching sports. Unfortunately their happy hour ends at 5. Wish it went until 5:30/6. They do have a reverse happy hour that begins at 9pm and ends at 10pm. I also enjoy their gyros!

Mainly because I work and eat here every day....been in the industry for 35 years and have NEVER BEEN PROUDER OF PRODUCT AND CONSISTENCY;-) Fresh produce and fresh house sour are the GAME CHANGERS TO CRAFT COCKTAILS!!! Back of house takes INCREDIBLE PRIDE IN EVERY DISH THEY PREPARE! Great daily lunch and dinner specials. Happy hour daily 3-5pm and 9 to close. Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, Flatbread Thursday, Prime Rib Fridays

I've been meaning to drop a review on The Hook for a while, but after reading the recent review in "My Edmonds News", what better time than now? We come into The Hook on a regular basis, served by Deb and Helen. Both of these ladies are 5 star servers, and go out of their way to make sure their customers are taken care of. Their commitment to customer service and pride of their workplace is evident in the way they interact with all of their customers, from the easy to the challenging. The food...no notes. Favorite dishes include the carbonara (ask for blackened prawns for an extra kick), the fish and chips (best around, and we get around), the crab dip and the super-fresh salads with the addictive house-made basil dressing are top notch. We've had nothing on the menu that we've been disappointed with, and love the rotating specials. Worth a "special" mention is the pulled pork sandwich that we got lucky enough to snag off the fresh sheet, and the battered fries, which are hard to find. The Hook is a locally owned, small business with pride of ownership evidenced in the quality of food, service of the staff and impeccable interior. If you like excellent service, a fantastic menu and to support a local business, give them a try.

Food is so good I didn't realize I had eaten all of the fish before I got a picture, until my husband said something. Lol The fries are great also, I just didn't want to show you a completely empty plate.Wheelchair accessibility: Super easy to get in and out of the restaurant, move around inside and easy to get to my car.

It has some good food options, but service is hit and miss. Some servers are fantastic, and others just aren't attentive. This place could be something special, but we do come back with our family from time to time since we live locally.

This place is a gem in the middle of nowhere which I call Perronville. Not a lot of people know about this town. But the owner is well seasoned in the restaurant business. They have great seafood. Especially the seafood fettuccine. Monday through Thursday there's always something special in the bar. They're happy hour is hard to beat.

Service was amazing. The food was super quick and so wonderful. It was a nice place to take mom for a great lunch! The portions are so big that my mom and I shared a house salad and the Seafood Diablo.

Really nice place. Had the Alfredo Linguine, was very good. Prices on par with quality. Will definitely be back now that they have the absolute best bartender ever in Ali. She's always incredible. Very personable, friendly and full of drinkology knowledge.

We were on a hunt for pub seafood appetizers but not the crowds of centralized Edmonds, this was the perfect little spot with a great happy hour menu. We had the crab dip, very tasty but could have been a little thicker in texture. The mussels and clam steamers were delicious as was the broth they came in with a little bread to soak it up. The sliders were sliders but the sauce on them was pretty good. The fries were so good we got an order to go for us to air fry the next day.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

I’m not actually sure how this restaurant stays in business. I’ve been here three times now and each time I leave asking myself why I let myself spend money here. Food is Applebees quality as best. Two of my three meals I’ve left half eaten. I was so hungry the first time I made myself eat it.
