Have eaten here many times. Went at lunch time about 12:15. There was about 5 tables with patrons at them. Normally it would be about 15-20 minutes to order & receive our food. We think we were forgotten, had to remind waitress we needed food. The restaurant is good, but service was horrible today!

Got my salad and my pizza at the same time at lunch time, how can you eat both at once? The pizza was all cheese and no crust, it was soupy Pizza all cheese ?

Pizza was a slight step up from Mod Pizza due to the crust, but was almost double the cost of Mod for a small pizza. We also ordered the spanakopita, which seemed like it was straight from the freezer section at Costco, and was served to us somewhat burnt. My partner ordered the meatballs with alfredo, and the meatballs were very bland. The taste of the food wasn't terrible, but there is big gap between the price you pay, compared to the quality of product you receive.In addition, we arrived around 5 pm on a Friday evening, thinking we would beat the Friday evening crowd. Well we did manage to beat the crowd, but from the moment you walk in the door, the service could have been better. There was a sign to the right of the door, that read please wait to be seated, and in front of you another sign that said seat yourself. Service was slow even in a mostly empty restaurant, I'd hate to see what things are like with more patrons.My advice, save some money and go to mod, or pay a little more and go to Brooklyn Brothers.

I noticed prior reviews have mentioned new ownership about 3 months ago, which makes sense regarding our experience. We have eaten there multiple times before new ownership, and it was wonderful. About the time new ownership changed, I picked up a To-Go, and the waitress was completely overwhelmed. She only had one table of 2, and 5 people lined up to pick up their orders, which was already packed behind her. Btw, the meal we ordered was just awful.March 16, we made a reservation for a birthday, and there was 8 people in our party. As it turned out, we got the same waitress. I thought, maybe she’s improved in the last 3 months I was there. She had not. Some drinks were forgotten, water was served in different size glasses for each person with no ice. Some people had to wait for their meal while others were already eating and it was just a sandwich they were waiting on. I should mention that we were the only table there at the time. The food, however, was really good, no complaints there. When we received the bill, the waitress told us that we could not pay separately, we had to pay one ticket as a group with 1 form of payment. I have never heard of such a thing before . So all of us were scrambling trying to use Venmo, or put together cash since we could only use one card or pay the entire bill in cash. And when reading the ticket, they added a large gratuity to the bill. Generally speaking, gratuities are around 16% +. They charged 25-27% gratuity. I have seen restaurants do this before for a large party, but this was not a large party. I called the restaurant yesterday and it was the same waitress that answered the phone, only saying “ Hello” not even using the name of the restaurant. I asked to speak to the owner and finally she said “I’ll have to see if he’ll talk to you”. I told him my concerns regarding the party and the bill, and all he said was “I’ll speak to the waitress” and said “I’m sorry” . He kept trying to rush me off the phone during this conversation, which was irritating. I asked him about the large gratuity, , he told me that was normal for a large group. I asked him what he considered to be a large group. He said five people or more and the gratuity will be added to the check. He also said I could find the gratuity information at the bottom of the menu. I told him not many people read the very bottom of the menu looking for the information about party size and gratuity, we are mostly looking at the menu to find something to order . Additionally, the waitress should explain to the table the gratuity be added to the bill for a party of five or more. Again, he kept rushing me as I spoke, so I finally just gave up. So if you decide to eat there, the food is good, but be prepared for owners/wait staff to be inexperienced at best. I would not surprise me to learn that this is the first restaurant they have owned.

Great food. Everything I’ve eaten has been really good. A lot of flavor, and great service and people working here. Elizabeth was my server today and was attentive, checked in on me, kind, and responsive. Definitely will keep coming back

I ordered a gyro and it was amazing! Unfortunately, the price was not, not by a long shot.I understand a business has got to make money, but 14 dollars for a gyro that’s just a little bigger than the size of my hand (and my hand is fairly small being only 5’4”) is just too much. The other acropolis has their gyros priced under 10 dollars, which I think is a bit more fair. I’d honestly love to buy the gyros here more as the meat is tender and the tzatziki sauce is really good, but I just can’t justify spending that much for such a small portion of food. Not when I can get a much bigger portion of food almost anywhere else for the same price.
