Happened to stop off in Everett on my way up north and saw this spot! Took a chance and man. SO. GOOD. Service was friendly and the food was outta control delicious. Pleasantly surprised and will be back for sure even though I live an hour away!

Had the Afro Samurai today. The food was bomb and the customer service was excellent... But then it always is?

Probably because we had high expectations with the 4.6 out of 5 rating, the food did not impress us at all. In addition to that, the Afro Samurai was super spicy and we could not finish it. I wished they had warned us before making an order.

I had the Aztec Warrior, wife had the Dirty South. While we both liked the Aztec Warrior the best - they were both delicious. Would recommend, really good noodles, to quote Neo.

Froze my 'chi chi's' off standing/sitting in the cold breezy entry hall waiting longer than I should have for order only to be disappointed with what sounded like a great meal. Ordered the most expensive thing on menu, Afro Samurai but something was very wrong... not only was the flavor combo incongruous but serving was skimpy for the $16 price. A lot of sheet metal creativity went into the outer/inner decor, along with great sounding dishes here but unfortunately mine fell flat on flavor along with under- sized Ramen portion.

Think this is a newer item on the menu the Pink Panther. Which is a Chicken & veggies brazed in red wine some roasted carrots. Some cooked spinach and a Japanese style Scotch egg. Liked it. Always like the variety and quality of ingredients in the dishes here. The broth with this dish was notably rich, like lips sticking, quickly developed a skin rich. I couldn't finish and the leftovers set up like jello it was that rich. It says it comes with shoyu broth but it was actually a little bland for me and added a little Johnny's seasoning and it brightened it up. Am wondering if something got missed in my dish that night but I'd get it again. Very few place make their broth that rich.

When you're up north, I highly recommend checking out Noodle Nation ( @noodle.nation.everett ), in North Everett, WA. They are this tiny shop, next to a gas station and they offer some seriously yummy eats! They have noodle bowls, make your own bowls, burgers and a rotation of new offerings! I got their Passion Fruit Tea, Bahn Mi (with beef), Afro Bowl (with udon noodles, PORK BELLAYYY, greens, a fried egg and I added a scotch egg, just to be extra!). Their head chef also hooked a sista up, with a sampler Pork Belly Slider and I'm living, for all that flavor explosion!!! I cannot wait, to go back and try more! Thanks y'all! xx

The food was yummy, but the drinks were very disappointing. We got the Korean Korndogs which were absolutely delicious. The cheese was really melty and I liked that the cheese & hot dog segments alternated. This was a really nice touch. High value for the price, too! We also got the Cajun tots, and those were yummy. The sauces they came with were flavorful and interesting. The only thing we didn't like were the drinks. We got the Thai tea w/ oat milk, and perhaps it was the oat milk that we weren't used to, but it tasted like water mixed with a couple of drops of leftover Thai tea. We were really disappointed and couldn't finish our drinks. I'd still go back, though! Just wouldn't get any drinks from Noodle Nation.

I ordered the dirty south and the flavors didn't go well together. The broth was very tasteless. For the amount of money it costs it's not worth it. The customer service is unprofessional.

food is a Frankenstein mess of flavors - GROSS!! they offered ramen noodles as a side item and that's literally all they were - flavorless plain ramen noodles - REALLY??? oh and I guess they expect me to eat their noodles with my fingers because they didn't include utensils.... never again

Great food, a way to try many styles of broth, noodles and flavors. I tried Afro Samurai and was pleased with it. I will try making my own next time.

Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day, or got the wrong thing. Maybe it would be better if I had gone into the place and talked to someone to find out the best thing to get, instead of having it delivered. Whatever the reason, I was underwhelmed, incredibly disappointed and feel a little duped. I ordered the "build a bowl" with ramen noodles, shoyu chicken broth, coq au vin, and the Japanese scotch egg. "Bland" is too spicy of an adjective to describe the flavor. The broth was flavorless. The coq au vin had a bit of flavor, but not much, and somehow it was dry (remarkable for something braised). The breading on the Japanese scotch egg was crunchy, and the egg cooked well, but it was basically flavorless. The noodles were chewy and not mushy at least, but again, totally flavorless. Also, no veggies like green onion, carrots, sprouts, mushroom, and sauces are included at all - it was Just broth, plain noodles, 4 pieces of chicken and an egg for $18.70. My wife typically prefers really basic bland food, so she went simple with ramen noodles and chicken broth. What we got was ramen noodles and yellow curry broth. She couldn't eat that, so she had some of my "shoyu chicken broth", which was even too bland for the queen of bland food. I tried some of the curry, at least that had some flavor, but was still lacking. The best thing we ordered was the "Korean Corn Dog", which came with a sauce that actually had some flavor. That was crunchy and satisfying. Our total bill, minus delivery fees, was $33.65. For two bowls of ramen noodles, some meat, broth, an egg and a corn dog. That's totally outrageous. I've had better tasting ramen out of a box from Costco for $1.50 per serving. (Seriously that boxed tonkotsu ramen from Japan is pretty darn good for what it is). One More thing - the online menu is confusing to navigate. Some things are listed twice in 2 separate areas, both labeled "toppings", but they are different prices. Depending on which site you visit (their website, yelp, Chow Now) there are different options, some additional items and some missing. Also, many of the descriptions of items seem Incomplete or simply aren't there. It's really too bad that this experience was so disappointing because I had high hopes for this place. I love ramen and we are in need of better restaurant options in this area. I guess this place just isn't it for us. Your mileage may vary. 1 star for the Korean Corn Dog, and 1 star for the delivery through Chow Now because it was quick and the delivery person was friendly.

I definitely enjoyed the bowl I got. But I ended up having to change my original order because they are bizarrely unable to make substitutions. I was ordering in person and I wanted to order one of the named bowls off their menu, but I asked if they could use chicken instead of pork. When ordered separately as a side, chicken is 50 cents more than pork and I was happy to pay the difference. But they said I couldn't make a substitution and would have to order a separate $6.50 side of chicken along with the $16 bowl. So instead of paying that much I just got a custom bowl. However, many of the toppings are prohibitively expensive for what you get. 3 dollars for half an avocado, 1 dollar for cilantro, 50 cents for a lime wedge is pretty unreasonable. If I actually got all the toppings I wanted it would have been over 25 dollars. I would like to eat here more because I enjoyed the food, but probably won't due to these factors.

They were out of everything we ordered like the curry chicken, Korean corn dog and anything with coconut milk. Basically cost 70 bucks for three cups of noodles. Said they were so busy on Sat. Night they couldn’t prep for Monday’s customer. Swimming Cow was very tuff beef rib. Won’t be back.
