New owners have taken it over. They do not know what they are doing. Owner said it would take 15 minutes. We waited 15 minutes, then checked. They didn’t even start making our order and told us it will be another 15 minutes. Food came out over cooked and dry. They forgot to add sauce and no lettuce with the falafel. Will not be coming back here again. Afghani owner clearly doesn’t know how to do Greek food.

Here is why 2 stars>>1- you need to update the prices I know the gas went up, this is not an excuse.2- too much garlic in the shawarma sandwich for the guts sake I’m a human being not a vampire ?I feel like I am a giant garlic walking right now3- Will give credit for the side Salad was good ?4- Hummus no comments

I’ve eaten here 2 days in a row because the food is fresh and tasty. I love middle eastern cuisine and this place takes the cake for the Federal Way area. The owner Hala is very hospitable and health conscious also and she reflects these qualities within her cooking. I make it a point to eat here after leaving LA Fitness.

I was driving on Pacific hwy on Thursday June 6 going to a different restaurant and was really hungry I seen the sign to this restaurant and decided to eat here. This was the best decision I have made I normally don’t write google reviews for restaurants but the food is flavorful and delicious…. The rice was flavor cooked the right way with broth the meat was delicious… hummus was delicious… Authentic Home Cooked Food ….. Today is Saturday the 18 am back eating at this restaurant…. You won’t be disappointed!

Food is delicious! Great find while we were traveling. The chicken shawarma salad is bomb and their falafel is on point. Definitely worth a stop!

Really enjoyed my first visit here. I also took a few things back for my coworkers to try and they loved the food as well. There are some really cool looking items in the menu and I got wait to go back and try all the menu items. I tried the falafel and have to say it it was the best I have ever had.

Moved from Cali to Washington a couple of years ago and I have been craving for a good Mediterranean food and saw that they have a 5 Star rating so I decided to try it.The lady was the cashier, the cook, the server and the busboy. Talk about one woman show! This alone is not good if they can’t even afford two people holding the fort it means they’re not doing good and no repeat customers. We ordered the combo, beef, ground beef and chicken kabob and the steak kabob meal. It was the worst food I ever had! All the meat was really tough and very dry! It’s like it’s been sitting for hours and they just reheated it.I asked for butter for my rice and I was told that they do not have butter. I asked for the sumac spice and she sprinkled a bit on my rice. Very stingy on the spice. She wouldn’t leave it on the table because she said she uses it for cooking! The only edible on the plate was the humus and the rice. we couldn’t eat the meat and we hoped that she doesn’t save it and serve to the next customer!Negative zero rating for this place! What a waste of $48 for two meals!

I randomly found this place while looking for dinner take out options near the Planet Fitness gym in Des Moines. It's over by the AutoZone complex. Anyhow, I ordered the Mixed grill combo meal, the Beef Shawarma sandwich meal (substituted fries for rice), Eggplant Mutabal (1st time trying it) and the Basboosa with cream for dessert. The rice was aromatic and delicious, and the proteins were juicy and well seasoned. The humus was to die for and was probably my favorite - tasted so fresh and home made. The eggplant mutabal is a cold dip and they give you peta bread with it - it was really good - tasted a bit like zucchini, which I love. All in all, every dish was really good and the high ratings of this place definitely reflect the quality and taste. The family running the place there seems super nice also.I highly recommend you try it.

Best falafels I’ve ever had. Moist and crisp. I’d definitely go back. The lentil soup was a little thin for my taste but flavor was perfect.

So good food. I love their shawarma sandwich; both are delicious beef and chicken. Highly recommend ?

Family friendly atmosphere! Food was amazing! Had the chicken shawarma wrap with the very pleasing hummus. Definitely recommend making a visit. First time customer and will continue to make more visits and looking forward to trying other menu items.

WARNING NEW OWNERS.. not the same place. Chaotic. We went in at 7pm and online it says they close at 8. She hit me with “someone in my family just died and we are having a funeral.” On a Friday night? I don’t think so. They rushed us to order, they said we had 15 minutes. They locked the doors and left the open sign on so a bunch of people were knocking on the door for the 30 minutes we waited for our food. HORRIBLE customer service. This used to be a good spot for Mexican food but now it’s some weird middle eastern joint trying to still serve Mexican food with two restaurant names. Not only that, the food was overpriced. I got the meal with 3 tacos (1 beef and 2 carnitas) and one horchata and it was $19. Me and my fiancé didn’t even want to eat the pork tacos they were distasteful and unseasoned. Also, they have boxes of tissues for napkins - that says enough in itself. We won’t be coming back. If there was a loss in the family sorry but have someone else come in to work if that’s the case.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time this evening. I know that any place can have an off day/night, but this was my first experience with them. I am very dissatisfied. I ordered the falafel sandwich combination and my wife ordered the falafel plate, and we ordered stuffed grape leaves. I need to mention that I tried calling to register my complaint, but there was no answer. I think that they were closed. Anyway. 1 After ordering, we were told that our order would take about 15 minutes to prepare. It took over 45 minutes. 2. The falafel sandwich combination plate is supposed to come with french fries. I got home and there were no fries. My sandwich was made with a tortilla instead of a pita. 3. Our falafel was very cold and oddly enough over cooked, much browner than they should have been. 4. My wife said no cheese and there was cheese on her food. She can’t have cheese, which made the parts of her food covered in cheese inedible to her. 5. The stuffed grape leaves were room temperature making them not very good eats. They were the top container, which now makes me think that they sat above our other food that was at some point warm, This place has a 4.4 rating, so I’m assuming that this was unusual for them. We were so disappointed that I’m not sure that we will ever try this place again. We tipped 20%! Had I only known ahead of time what we would get, this place would not have gotten any of our hard earned money.
