Maiden bossam is delicious

Virgin bossam combo (not pictured: fish cake soup) is plenty of food for two guys. Solid place to eat and drink. Edit: The plate is humongous. Two layers of bossam.

Are here with a couple friends. We ordered the cheese tteokbokki, jjambong, and the seafood pancake. The season pancake is simply amazing. It’s so well seasoned, very crispy, well cooked and absolutely delicious. 5/5Cheese tteokbokki is solid. The rice cake was chewy and perfectly soft texture. Cheese is good. The sauce is lacking imo. Something’s missing there and I can’t put my finger on it. 3/5The jjampong(spicy seafood soup) is not good. It lacks flavor, spice, and the broth is just sad. 1/5The service is just bad. We had to ring the bell several times to get somebody. When they came, they forgot to give us water we asked for so we waited another 15-30 minutes

We went here with some friends one night since our friend said the spicy noodle soup was really good. The side dishes were pretty good nothing incredible or better than other Korean restaurants I've been to. We ordered the cheese dukbokki, jjampong, and seafood pancake.Cheese dukbokki was alright, I didn't care for it personally, the cheese didn't taste anything special to me but wasn't bad and had good texture.Jjampong was good, spicy and had a lot of seafood, but the noodles were pretty average and didn't stand out to me.The best dish we had was the seafood pancake, with the sweet soy sauce poured on it, it was really good and everyone's favorite. It came with a lot of meat and fillings.Service was ok, took us awhile to get refills on tea but got served quickly after ordering.TLDR: Not the best Korean spot and not the worst, best thing we had was seafood pancake highly recommend that dish

Delicious and authentic Korean food! They were so generous with the seafood in the jjampong (had like 8 clams along with plenty of other things), portions are great for the price and taste was

Excellent korean food, family style. Bring a group because they only have large entrees. Has a bar vibe: very loud music, dim lighting.

Casual vibe, a good place to drink since it opens until late. Food was good - grandma's bossam was my favorite (the kimchi was my parents' favorite), followed by seafood pancake. Army stew was alright, large enough to be shared by 3-4 people.

So to be clear this Is our favorite place in the area and I normally would highly recommend it to anyone. Today we went and ordered and sat for 36 min. Side dishes or nothing came to the table. We watched all 4 employees sit and eat as we were waiting on service. Keep in mind we arrived at 6:50. So they had only been open a short time. So it is not like the had been busy all day and didn’t get a chance to eat etc. We sat at the first table too. We watched them take stuff to every other table as they walked past us! We ended up leaving at the 40 min mark when they started giving side dishes to people whom had came in after us. I will probably try again as their food is the best around today. Service fell VERY short!
