I don't think I've ever left a review here but their pork donburi had me in such a chokehold I have to come here all the time until I finally moved away. I'm coming up to visit my son for spring break and I will definitely be getting a dish to take home.

I ordered the Pork Loin Katsu, and it seemed like they made it in large batches and possibly froze it, as the batter came off the meat quite easily. However, the taste was okay, and the portion size was generous. It's a suitable option if you're looking for affordable Katsu, but I wouldn't expect too much in terms of quality.

There is a reason the place next door is busy. Extra side dish of rude attitude is free. Your choice. Oh, and don’t ask for a napkin — he needs to see your receipt.

My favorite katsu place! I recently ordered the cheese katsu, and it tasted amazing. I was amazed at how crisp it stayed even after a long drive.Vegetarian options: They would customize the dish to vegetarian dietary preferences.

Had the Pork Tenderloin Katsu and Soba Combo. The pork was very tender and the breading was light/fluffy and crunchy which is how i like it. But i know some ppl prefer different types of breading. Soba was also great. Gives lots of noodles. Definitely will be

Had this wonderful katsu udon combo after the grocery shopping. Never expected this much quality, but way better than any katsu places in LA. Definitely visit there again if I go to Seattle again. The cheese katsu was "must get one".Overall 5 starts

I was a bit worried when I saw the change in ownership, but I ordered my usual order of cheese katsu. I was very pleasantly surprised. The new owner's katsu far exceeds the quality and taste of the previous owner. It was also great to see him make each order freshly, using fresh, non-dried panko for breading. The breading was nice and crispy, and the meat was incredibly juicy. He definitely didn't skimp out on the cheese either, there was a bunch right in the center. The presentation of the dish was also very modern, with the katsu cut and the cheese centered rather than sandwiched between two thin loins like the previous owner. You likely won't find katsu better than this in the Pacific Northwest, and this is coming from an owner of a sushi restaurant who has spent over a decade working with Japanese cuisine. Very impressive.
Always come here and order the C2 which should be the tonkatsu curry. Closest to my moms cooking. Service was great. Food was awesome!!!!!

It used to be tasty and krispy couple years ago. But i don't know what happened recently, but every time i go, the katsu is soggy. It's a definite no-go for katsu to be soggy no matter what.

I tried this place because their katsu looks similar to the katsu place in cap hill. They are a small mom and pop shop inside Hmart in Federal Way. The katsu was pretty good but to be honest the katsu place in cap hill got them beat.

Inside the grocery store so its easy to miss but had the okonomiyaki and my mother got the katsu curry. They give you a pager to know when your foods ready. They were both so good and crispy, best I've had in WA honestly.

Amazing Katsu that you can find randomly in an Asian Market. Perfect portion of meat and just the right amount a crunch texture. Boyfriend devoured his chicken katsu and I was only able to eat half of the cheese katsu since it was a lot for me, but popped it in the air fryer the next day and tasted just as good! A must try if your in the area!
