A coworker recommended this place to me for organic and quality produce.I would also agree with him that this place has a great selection of ripe and quality produce! I saw very comparable prices on almost all their items. Lots of organic and local things along with specialty items.I'll come back if I'm in the area.

Boy, this place has changed. Very overpriced and over staffed for the foot traffic. Workers are a tad overwhelming because they look bored. Allow your customers to shop and if they have questions they will track down 1 of 50 employees standing around.

It has so many, more natural options from foods to medicines, baby supplies to makeup. They have some kitchen supplies, some gardening items, essential oils, and upstairs they have a salad bar and sandwiches. It was closed when I was there (time of day), but had an open air cooler with prepared sandwiches and things still available.

My favorite place to go for a healthy lunch! I love the smoothies that you can customize. Sandwiches and salad bar are outstanding also. Highly recommended and I return regularly. Have never been disappointed!

I was traveling for a kid's swim meet, staying at the Hampton Inn across the street. Discovered Marlene's as I wanted to load up on healthy food vs. eating at restaurants for three straight days. Marlene's was a god-send. They have a great selection of produce and all the other stuff that you want when you only have a mini-fridge (yogurt; protein drinks; small peanut butter; bulk items). They also have a fantastic deli and coffee bar upstairs where you can meet with people, read, or get some work done. Marlene's honestly made the Hampton Inn (and would be the same for the Courtyard Marriott) perfect for anyone staying in Federal Way perfect.
