Waitress was very friendly , food was good but they could give larger portion size for the seafood and veggies for what they charge per item

Yummy soup, food, and dipping sauce. Service was a bit slow when we went, but everyone working there was still super friendly. We got the beef combo which gave us a nice mix of things to eat, and it was good amount of food for 2 people. The flavors reminded me of KBBQ (probably because of the dipping sauce I used with the meat) and I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area!

My girlfriend is probably writing a much better review but use to not enjoy hotpot as it gave me an ick but this place is great the serving for the price is amazing too! Changed my mind and the woman who is running this place is very friendly and i very much recommend trying to listen to what she is showing you because it was very helpful and taught me how to enjoy hotpot.

Very yummy soup and good selections. Very good services. Fast!! (Most restaurants having trouble with finding employees, this is the best way to go - cook your own food!!) Love the concept of coffee , bakery (not super sweet) and SHABU SHABU!!

I had high hopes based on the reviews of this restaurant. However, I was left very disappointed. The broths that we got were both very bland. The selection of meat was also very limited. As a hotpot restaurant the variety and abundance of meat, veggies, carbs, sauce was very small. I've tried alot of hotpot places and this one by far was my least favorite. The beef combo that we ordered was supposed to be enough for 2-3ppl. But when we got our order, it was underwhelming. There was not enough to even feed 2 ppl let alone feeding 3. We left still feeling hungry and just not satisfied. The meat and veggies that the combo comes with seemed to also be a bit dull. It was lacking quality and freshness that I usually find ar hotpot restaurants.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Favorite place in federal way for hot pot. All ingredients seemed fresh.

Fun and different. I had never been to a place like this. We got the beef and seafood platter ( they say it’s enough for 2 people ) but it’s really good for 3. The staff was friendly. The platters come with a variety of things to boil. It is very fun to make your own creations and figure out what you like or don’t. I wouldn’t recommend getting the seafood platter, boiling fish, scallops and mussels doesn’t taste the best and it’s hard to tell when they are fully done or not. That is personal choice though.

Round two FIGHT! As I was the first visit, this visit was absolutely delicious as well. I was so stoked to see Eric was there again today. He is just an absolutely amazing person, and GREAT at his job. We also got to meet Owen, who is also really good at his job. Again we ordered a cubic ton of food. It came out beautifully presented and everything was very fresh. This time I was smart enough to remember to take pictures (yay me!). To the point, if you are in the area stop in and check them out. You will not be disappointed!

We have been here twice. We usually ordered the Beef and Seafood hot pot combo. They were all delicious. I love the beef with the anchovy broth. The teopokki was awesome. The rice cake is chewy and the spiciness was perfect. Lastly, we had some macarons and tiramisu for desserts. They were all delicious! We always went home satisfied and happy

So good. I was so sad when ox tail closed but I am so happy it was replaced by shabu shabuya. I have been looking for a good shabu house near where I live so it's such a nice surprise when they opened. We came here today at 1130 right when they opened . We sat down right away and the server was super nice. He explained everything and we got the beef combo which he said was more worth it than ordering a la crate. He even let us substitute for some stuff that we didn't like. When the food came it was so much food. A good variety of vegetables, meat and noodles. I was so full by the end of it. The broth was a bit plain but flavorful. I did usually like my ponzu sauce with lots of garlic which they didn't have so I mixed it with their chili sauce. The price was decent $48.30 for all of the food. We even got the macaroons after and it was delicious. We would definitely be returning soon!

Really good food!Went there today, Saturday around 1PM. The place wasn’t packed so we were seated right away and didn’t wait too long for food. We ordered the fried tempura, teoppokki, and beef combo with bone broth soup. And for drinks we got the calamansi juice (with Sprite) and the Dalgona milk. The tempura is really good, as well as the teoppokki. Also, the soup was perfect for the weather. They give you peanut and soy bean sauce that you can mix with soy to season to your liking. And the combo comes with 3 different types of noodles and a lot of vegetables. We ate most of the order but still were able a full serving to go! The drinks were good and the Dalgona milk went really well with the spicy teoppokki. For dessert we got a 5-piece box of their macaroons with a huge variety of flavors that you can choose from and those are really good too.Overall I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely love to go back!

I like this place because let me tell you why. Their service is sometimes slow and aloof, but their meat is sliced thin and I like my meat sliced thin as thin as they slice it. It cooks fast. Their sauces are tasty. Their selling point is their thinly sliced beef. Oh. I said that already. It tastes good with the vegetables they give. Their vegetables are good too. I'll give them that. So I hope you know what's good here now.

I was hesitant to go to a hot pot place myself but the menu allows you to pick what you want even for one person. You pick the broth, whatever meat/fish you like, and a bunch of veggies to choose from and just pay for each item you want. I might have gotten carried away and ordered way too much (I did eat it all tho!). I recommend ordering only one meat dish- as you can see plenty of meat for one person. The waiter was also super nice and checked on me several times. I felt bad for him since he was the only waiter/check in person in the whole restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Hands down the best shabu place in the area! Worth the money and service is really good which always makes it a plus!! Food was delicious with variety of Korean dishes you can order as well. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice family dinner out or even with friends :)
