This is one of the best KBBQ spots in the Seattle area, and when I say Seattle area, I mean Federal Way, which boasts tons of Korean restaurants. Y'all know that's where to get the best Korean food in Seattle. My colleagues and I had a work event in Federal Way, so decided to take advantage of the night while we were all down south and get dinner at So Moon Nan Jib. We made reservations ahead of the time for the eight of us on a Monday night, but honestly, we wouldn't have an issue getting a table for our large group as a walk-in as the restaurant wasn't too busy. Yet there was a good amount of patrons dining in. We were the only non-Koreans, which should be a telling sign that we're at the right spot. For our large group, we ordered two BBQ combination sets, and chose combo A, which was solid. It had brisket, pork belly, beef chuck, which were all exceptional on the grill. The banchan selection was fire. I think there were like, eight different side dishes, which is the most I've seen at a KBBQ restaurant and they were all delicious. Of course, it's unlimited and not once did we have to ask for more banchan because the servers consistently checked our table and would refill any empty banchan dishes. Amazing service! Lots to love here, from the food to the friendly employees. They have a drink menu, with Korean beers and soju and in addition to the BBQ selection, they have a huge menu of classic Korean entrees. I definitely would eat here again as this is one of the best KBBQ restaurants around town. Located in a small business strip, it's located right off of Pacific Highway and is next to other Korean gems, including Myungin Dumplings. Get your BBQ on!

Honestly I never right a review but I felt like I should. Food is okay and you can totally find better Korean food. The customer service was just what really made me right this review. The lady was so rude and I tried to be nice and say thank you to her. And nothing from her. It's not like I was asking her for food, I am paying her and tipping her. There's definitely better Korean food places. Save your money!

Super clean & delicious. Food was fresh and flavorful. We had the best time. And this is the tastiest and best BBQ in the county. Have tried a lot of Korean BQQ. Will be coming back for more. The tray of oils and sauces for dipping was DELICIOUS. And I've never had that at other places. We were served a bunch of side dishes you don't get at other places like an egg soufflé, soup, sweet potatoes and there were rice choices too! We chose the purple one. Yummy. The price was about $52 a person (without drinks) which was great for the amount of food you get. The 6 of us left so full.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant. Love the squid pancake, piping hot, krispy crunchy. Bi bin bop, tofu soups, n the pick 2 choices allows me to have tofu soup or Udon noodles. The side dishes are also good. Help keeps an eye on you, very accommodating. Would go more often, but the distance and prime crime area of Federal Way is not conducive to frequent as much as I would. C'mon police, get a handle on the shootings, attacks.

Came in with my family to ear dinner, service wasn't the best and the food was okay for what you pay. The quality of service and asking for help is terrible. I went to pay for my food and they kept trying to use the chip reader on my debit card over and over then finally said it didn't work, which I found odd. At this point I was a little irritated and paid with my other card transaction went through and gave them a tip. Got an email from bank that I was charged twice. I went in on a Monday and the lady wasn't helpful, she got another customer to help translate for them to tell me to wait until Tuesday so they can verify if I was telling the truth when I had my statement in front of them. They said they will call me on Tuesday never happened. I called them back and said sorry my manager isn't here and they can't help me. So it's been a week since we went there and yet they want me to wait for their manager to call me back for my refund. This is ridiculous poor service and never returning shouldn't be that hard to give you a refund....
Gopchang ttukbaegi is delicious. Sundae Guk Sundae was not very good. The seafood and green onion pancake was not very good. There were lots of side dishes and they were delicious.

I came in, and asked 3 servers can we have a table for 2 people. All of them just glanced at me and said nothing then walked away. I thought they were busy and waited another 5 minutes and asked again. Then they just said we have no table available (very impatient), but the place is literally half empty. Not sure if it’s a racism thing or just all of them had a very bad day. I guess don’t come unless you area regular.
