Highly recommend!! Was having a tire issue for so long and no one could figure out what was wrong with it. Someone recommended I come here and they fixed it in an hour for a very reasonable price. Very friendly too!

I would give this place 5 stars for its process of upgrading the store. i have shopped here from time to time and watched the positive changes. And i have wondered if the intention of the store management is to limit the appeal to Hispanics, or to broaden it to attract all. My little bit of research tells me the place is controlled by a very smart Chinese guy. He also has the H Mart across the street. That place almost sizzles and is fun to shop at. I figure he is getting there with the Mexican store But why not make it a cool place for anyone? How about this: The store sponsors a periodic event where they invite people who do not speak Spanish to learn about the store. They could tour it, get some small samples and have their questions answered. "Which peppers are the hottest and how are they used?" They could do this monthly as more and more people learn. If the guy who runs the place is interested in this idea, I would help him.

This place is a ripoff with their food , I paid 11 bucks for this amount of food. The food was nasty and dry.

The food they had in their Deli was about average. The chicken was dry. The steak fajitas were good. I had a couple of other things but I dont know what it was.

I'd been coming here since they first opened and it was great, very good pozole, menudo, tamales, and a big variety of Mexican hot food and groceries. Although the last time I was there I was walking in the produce area and all of a sudden out the corner of my eye I see a HUGE rat running around the open produce section I tried to let some workers (asian women) know discreetly and of course they acted like they couldn't understand the word RAT until I repeated it the 3rd time and got loud about it at this time, they finally understood and said "ok" and went about their conversation. Lastly I mentioned it to the cashier as I was checking out and she stated they knew about the problem and it's been bad and they are waiting to get an exterminator to help. I understand most places have mice and rats but to have them running around inside the OPEN produce area and imagining there have to be more is very unsanitary and unsafe. I really loved this market and hope they really do take care of that big gross disgusting issue!

Good to honest Mexican food and product! Love the menudo! Great variety of other foods and reasonably priced groceries.

Amazing. I ate at the food bar and all of their items are to die for they all taste good and you can taste the hard work put into everything. The food is a little pricy i spent 35 on 2 containers of food, 1 cup of champurrado, and 2 tiny buckets up fresas con creme. And i mean it was a lot of food and they probably price It based on weight it wasnt that bad. I definitely think you should come eat here its kinda buffet-ish. The rest of the store i have to say if very authentic and everyone there is very friendly and theyre all helpful good people,, even the customers. If you go to the middle of the store near the entrances theres a seating area for you till chill out and wait for someone or eat your food ehile theres videos of cute animals on one screen and news/sports on another screen.

It all started perfect. But now it's just like a regular "Asian" market. Everything it's getting super expensive I mean super expensive. I don't know if there are the owners but super rude. Quite rude to yelled me "we're close, can you leave" I mean ok?

I grew up in El Paso, Texas.... and spent a long time trying to find a market comparable to those I was used to. This place is pretty darned close. They have an in store tortillaria, that cranks out corn and flour tortillas that don't disappoint. A hot buffet with fresh tamales of every variety- and an area to sit and eat if you can't wait to get home. Their meat case has all of the special cuts you don't see at Safeway... tripe, pigs feet, flanken ribs, skirt steak.... it was all there!!! I could hear my grandmother tying her apron!!! Not as flashy as most markets... but that's what I love about the place. Friendly bilingual staff... and reasonable prices.

Update - I was there last weekend to pick up some groceries and saw them putting out some freshly made pork shirt ribs in red chile sauce and some in green sauce. They looked really good so I decided to give them a second try. I'm so glad we did! They were absolutely delicious! I also tried some of the steak in red chile and picadillo which consisted of ground beef with veggies in chile sauce. All were very good and authentic tasting. The rice and beans were very good as well. I also finally found agua the pepino con limon (cucumber juice with lemon)!!! I have not been able to find this since moving from Southern California. I was so exstatic and it was so refreshing.

First let me say we really love the food here and all the hot food choices. I buy the rice and beans for family get togethers often Now why review you ask? I often feel like the d*** white girl when I go there and I don't know what most of the delicious smelling and looking foods are and let me tell you I've spent a small fortune trying them out. Today I went in for a simple order of Carnitas tacos. The staff behind the hot case looked at me like I was from another planet. They didn't grill the tortillas or chop up the pork on the grill. He just tore off chunks and put them straight onto the cold tortillas in a styrofoam box. then asked me if I wanted the hot sauce I said yes but they gave me this mild green salsa that they have never served me before. I am so disappointed and feel like they treated me poorly because I don't speak Spanish. I'm not sure I will ever go back

I went last night (on a Wednesday). The store is huge, and definitely has all the Mexican ingredients you need to cook a decent Mexican meal... but overall the store looked gross and that was a huge turn off for my boyfriend and I. We most likely will not come back. We come from southern Cali where I guess we were spoiled with great Mexican grocery markets. We just moved here and are on a hunt for our go-to Mexican grocery spot and came here due to the great reviews. After stepping foot in this store I've come to realize I took my markets in Cali for granted. People raved about the tamales on here.. it made me crave them but I didn't even walk away with them because they hardly had any available and the few that were left were out of their corn husks and the masa looked dry around the edges (probably due to them being out of their corn husk but still ew gross) We saw that they had soups and they smelled good but we checked them out and the meats looked uncooked/ and again the meats floating on the surface of the soups were drying. My boyfriend is giving the albondiga soup a try.. I'll see how that goes. The chicharon was burnt.. carnitas are supposed to look juicy, meats were going from pink to blackish blue, everything was not fresh or appetizing! Why was Trader Joe's a cheaper grocery haul for me than this place? Back in So Cal, Trader Joes is a more expensive option! Cacique cheese was like $4 here.. You can get 2 for $5 elsewhere, for ex Target/Walmart.. I had the yellow corn tortillas/salsa and sour cream this morning and was able to enjoy that, but last night I had the ham & cream cheese roll from the bakery and I found a piece of white string looking plastic by the ham, WTF. Never coming back again. If anyone can recommend a better mexican grocery/meat market or bakery in the area, I would be very grateful!

Surprised with the bakery's level of service! Went there last minute to purchase a cake and they went above and beyond what I could have imagined! I haven't had the best of service and experience in the actual market so I'm rating this visit a 4 star only for the Paneria! They did exactly what I asked of them. Not my first time purchasing a cake from here and won't be my last! Recommended to all my friends and family!!
