I had high expectation for this place since beef soup was one of the only things they serve here. The soup unfortunately did not taste fresh or perhaps the beef was not cleaned well? While the broth was rich in flavor there was also a distinct unpleasant lingering aroma that tagged along with it.We also ordered dumplings, they were ok. Not bad but not great.I did enjoy the radish side dish a lot. I ended up ordering one to take home.

Oh how deep and subtle taste Korean traditional soup ! And House Handmade dumpling is very great price and delicious ?I strongly recommend when you need original Korean beef bone soupThe disappointing thing is only sweet Kimchi. They said they need to make it sweet for American's taste.....Hope put less sugar ..Oh right very kind and nice service !

Seolleongtang, dumpling soup (handmade dumplings inside), kimchi, and kkakdugi are all rich and savory! it is delicious..!It's as delicious as or even better than seolleongtang in Korea. The dumplings don't have any meaty smell and are delicious. The staff were friendly and even brought us radish radish refills!

Beef bone and tongue soup is my favorite. It is very satisfying when paired with purple rice and kimchi.Parking: The parking lot is in front of the restaurant and in the open space next to it. There are many parking spaces.

Awesome place hosted my lovely Korean ladies. Best kimchee I've had in a long time and the mandu reminds me of Korea. Beef soup fantastic. Highly recommend!

A concise menu that facilitates deciding precisely what to order. I strongly suggest trying the seafood crepe. Without a doubt, this is among the finest seafood crepes I've ever tasted at a Korean restaurant. Its exterior is pristine and the interior is stuffed with seafood. It also maintains its shape admirably. I also placed an order for the brisket soup, which I appreciate the absence of sodium. You must instead make your own additions to achieve the desired flavor. Considerable brisket is utilized, and the flavor is exceptional.

The soup is legit and the pork steamed dumplings too. The seafood pancake is not great. Place is relative clean with lots of parking and decor okay. Avoid the bathroom. The problem is they are way understaffed and they prioritize take out orders. If they are not busy, the service is really good and they give you extras if you want. And even for one person they give you both kimchi.

Awesome soup (and Kimchi you can buy to take home!). We had a slight mix-up with our order, but the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating afterwards. Food was delicious too and felt authentic (at least for someone who has been to Korea for about a month). I always love a place that has a small menu where everything is well done, too.

Very good food and straightforward service! Love the simplicity of the menu and service. They bring your hot soup out in a flash and load you up with korean radish side dish. My go-to during cold weather days.

This place is where it’s at! If you enjoy seolleongtang, Yi’s is amazingly fresh, delicious, and authentic. Each time it feels like family too.

The brisket beef soup was fantastic (15.99), the mixed beef soup was great as well. (16.99). The mandu was good but probably won't order again. Everyone was having seafood pancake except my table so that must be the item to get. Service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and so quick. Would visit again.

Some of the best Korean sullung tang (ox bone broth soup) in the Greater Seattle area. This restaurant has been around the Federal Way area for a long time and is a favorite of mine and many others. This is a chain with a presence all across the country as well! Highly recommend the brisket sullung tang.FoodThe sullung tang is a must try when you come here with your choice of meat. I personally like the brisket but there is tongue or tripe as well. The soup is very clean and neutral when it first comes out so you can add the course salt and pepper found on the table to adjust to your liking. There is a choice between wheat noodles or sweet potato starch noodles. Both are super good but the sweet potato noodles is a classic combo with the soup. They give plenty of meat as well which is always nice.I got the 12 piece dumplings and they were alright. Plenty of filling in each one. The sweet dipping sauce is really good here though and separates it from other places with dumplings. The side dish kimchi and radish are also usually pretty good!AtmosphereThe restaurant is definitely cozy and gives a nice warm feeling while you eat your soup. Tables will only really seat up to 4 people and there isn’t the option to combine tables or get a bigger table. Noise level can be a little loud. Really gives a Korean restaurant feeling.PricingThe prices are average for a sullung tang compared to other Korean restaurants that serve the same dish or other Korean soups. The seafood pancake is a little overpriced I think. The dumplings are still worth it at 12 pc for 14.99 for the portion size and taste.ServiceService was fast and all the staff is very friendly. Despite being very busy on a Saturday night with full tables and a wait list they would check in to make sure everything was okay. English speaking here as well.OtherThe parking lot can be a little cramped since shared with other restaurant next door and not a ton of space around. Make sure to write your name on the wait list.
