Family owned businesses with great drinks and food… yes please! By far my favorite family friendly restaurant of all time. Fast staff, clean environment and great atmosphere. If I could give this 10 million stars I would. For people commenting “no kitchen at this restaurant” it’s because Ferndale is really hard with food licensing and they’re doing their best to work on it. Also the “drinking around kids” isn’t that deep it’s just a family friendly restaurant. Love this location

Open atmosphere, private areas for groups of friends or families. Great choice of brewa.

Stopped here on a Friday 12/29/23 at 3:40pm and they are not open despite Google and the hours posted on their door saying they open at 3pm. Plus their beer's not that good other times we've been here. Beer is served in plastic solo cups.

The people who work here are extremely friendly. So this review has ZERO to do with the customer service at all. But for the actual atmosphere and food. I should point out I don't drink. So I am really happy that they had root beer on tap, it was delicious. The food options were pretty limited and needless to say I went to Taco Bell afterwards. Inside the actual place was sweltering hot, my friends and I were sweating it was so hot in there. We went outside because it was cooler even though we came during that "mini" heat wave we had. I wish they had fans or something to cool people off. Those are my biggest complaints, no food and uncomfortable. But friendly service and root beer for us non drinkers.

Cute arcade in the back. Quaint rooms you can meet up in and hangout. They only allow two samples a person so unfortunately couldn't find any beer or cider I liked. The bartender wasn't very friendly either. There's no AC, it was physically uncomfortable to be inside for longer than 10 minutes.

Lots of Ferndale pride. When we visited they finally have Juneshine organic booch on draft. We will be back to help kill the keg.

I have been here a couple times since opening and loved the vibe and beer selection was great with 2 very friendly bartenders. My last visit didn't go as well unfortunately. Took the family here for a late lunch on a Saturday about 3:30 pm. The lone bartender was less than enthused, no smile and dry. We were then informed that the food wait was at least 45 minutes. There was maybe 20 people total there that day. Might have been a fluke, but I was not stoked on the slow service and not being able to get food. We left hangry.. after just 1 beer. I may be reluctant to go back if this is the new norm.

Our group had mixed reviews. Seems like the kitchen is off site as our food came in through the front door in to-go bags. Tots and corn dogs were hot, burgers were rated from cold and soggy to, “best burger I’ve had in a long time”. I prefer fries to tots but probably a good choice not to serve fries based on the delivery method. Restaurant theme is awesome, highlighting FHS, with the Metallica bridge, pieces of the gym floor, and stack of FHS yearbooks in the locker room. Pool tables and other games are a win. I’ll go again but some of my party probably won’t.

Super cool place. Lots to do and a solid selection of beverages and food too. The wings and tots are great. The burger looked fantastic. I’d go back for sure.

Large tap list, excellent seating arrangements, and nooks for parties. Pool tables! Kid friendly.

Wow! All I can say is I wish I lived in Ferndale - I would come to this place more often. District Brewing Ferndale has been opened for only a short period of time and they recently started to offer food options. They now offer bone-in or boneless chicken wings (with lots of sauce options) and burgers. From what I have heard they rent out a kitchen space from a local diner (food is not made in house), but it comes fairly quick and was very hot & fresh when it arrived. I also love the diverse beer and cider selection they have inside. The space itself was impressive. It includes lots of free games (pool, ping pong, board games), TVs, two smaller social gathering rooms, and an arcade. From previous reviews I saw people complaining about the crowds, but that was not an issue for us on the evening we went! Service was great, food & drinks were delicious, and lots of room to socialize and play games with friends. I will definitely be back!
