Best Chinese food we have found in Washington so far. Have tried several different dishes from the menu and they have all been excellent. Fresh ingredients, high quality meats and packed with flavor. Will definitely return again, and again.... And again.

Hello There

Absolutely a winner, I'm definitely going back. I visited Dragons Bistro with my niece and ordered Szechuan chicken and a combo meal which was chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was so delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try another dish! The crab rangoons so yummy as well. They gave us generous portions and quality ingredients!

One star is like saying this maybe edible but this food is as bad as it gets. Sweet and sour pork combo and sweet sour chicken combo my dog wouldn't even eat it. This food absolutely disgusting. So pork had so much batter on it I don't know if it was sweet and sour batter because, it definitely wasn't sweet sour pork. The below picture of the container of sweet and sour sauce was meant for two orders and back in the day you would get about 12 pieces of pork and a container sauce per order.

This place used to be good but during the last year things have changed. Service sucks. Food has no flavor and the very last time I ate there, made me sick. I ordered at the table and after waiting 20 minutes for my drink and hearing the kitchen staff fighting with each other. I asked for my food to go, and I was charged extra for that. An order of chicken wings, chow mein and one beer cost me $47. I won't be back.

This was our first time here since the restaurant reopened. We really wanted to like it, but we're a little disappointed. We both ordered combination plates, mine with Tsao chicken & my wife's with honey walnut shrimp. The both came with chicken chowmein. The chowmein tasted very fresh. The shrimp dish was surprising, as they served large prawns. My Tsao chicken was mediocre. We might give it a second try.

The restaurant has rebranded over the years. Its latest reincarnation LOOKS better, however, tonight I just spend 80 for two people and only good item were the oversized crab Rangoon. I immediately questioned our main dishes as soon as brought out and was told “well this is how WE make it”. We had two bites from our main dishes. I have never NOT paid for a meal but I wanted to tonight. We were not offered anything in lace and our bill was not reduced. Will NEVER be back, and we’ve been dining there since 2004.

I called and ordered three meals from the Dragon's Bistro in Gig Harbor. I was told it would be 1-2 hours and they would call me when the order was almost done. I confirmed twice they would call me and they said they would. 1.5 hours later I still had not heard anything and went to the restaurant, as the order should be just about done. I got there and there were others waiting. No one was at the front counter. A worker came out of the back with another order and helped that customer. I waited another 15 minutes and the worker called out my order. My order had been sitting on the back table. I told them they said they would call me when the order was about done. The worker said, it was fine as it just came out. I paid, left a tip and went home. I got home and the food was COLD. I had to microwave the order. Two parts of the order were missing. I called the restaurant back and told them about the missing items that I was charged for. I requested a refund on the missing items and he said he would do that. Still to date, no refund. Poor customer service.

Ugh what a disappointment. After having eaten at the original Hunan Garden for many, many years (and having been to multiple Asian countries), I was sad to see it went out of business and was replaced by this Asian restaurant. I had heard it was the same menu, but found out that it is not the same quality. The Walnut Prawns at Hunan were iconic. The best Walnut Prawns I've ever had. They were practically a dessert. This place has absolutely butchered the recipe. The prawns are borderline flavorless and there's no peaches. The syrup is strictly coating the prawns and barely existent as a dip for the walnuts, so the walnuts are super dry. They don't break them up either, so you get gigantic pieces of walnut in each bite and there aren't even enough to have ONE per prawn. Don't even bother trying to have one per bite, which the name of the dish would imply. They might as well be garnish. The beef and snow peas was bland as well. It's like they took all the interesting flavors out of all the Hunan recipes. The food looks like it should be rich and hearty, but you eat it and taste very little. I cannot stress how bland this food is.Same goes for the egg rolls and chicken fried rice. Absolutely NO flavor. There's no point in repeating myself beyond that. The fortune cookies were completely stale. The crab rangoon was the only thing resembling something I'd call "tasty", but most of the work is done by the sweet and sour sauce, which they supplied us 2 giant cartons of. It's as if they're sending the message that we need to drench ALL the dishes in this stuff to get any kind of flavor out of it.I won't go back here. You'll find better flavor in a Panda Express and I won't touch that place with a 10 foot pole.

The Dumplings are like little pockets of perfect flavor and texture! The dishes includes fresh vegetables and a sweet and savory balance of flavor with a spicy kick.

While the service was great, the food unfortunately wasn't anything to write home about. It'll definitely give you a week's worth of sodium in two bites, if you're into that.

Ordered mu Shu chicken. It was a small portion to go, and it was very soggy as if it was last nights. They charged me a "takeout charge", something I never had before. I wish I could say I'd return, but I can't.
