My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to go for breakfast, since we had worn out the usual places. We saw the reviews for Formosa and decided to drive from Lacey area and give it a go. We were not disappointed! Just WOW.I was surprised at how small the dining area is; this place is located in a strip mall and has a bar area with stools as well as dining tables. It is extremely clean and well appointed. We were greeted and seated right away when we arrived.The reviews are correct about the menu; it's a small, limited menu but once you try an item you will understand they are all about quality not quantity. If you do something well, focus on that and don't spread yourself thin.I ordered a breakfast burrito and a cappuccino, and my husband ordered the Philly sandwich. They were absolutely amazing! Made with fresh ingredients, served hot with lots of cheese and veggies, crispy brown hashbrowns, fresh fruit salad, fresh bread, etc. My husband said he could eat 2 of those Philly sandwiches lol The menu items are not cheap but they are sizeable, fresh, hot, and delicious. We will be back! Highly recommend.

Have enjoyed everything I've ordered. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, great specials (if they haven't sold out already!) and the beef noodle soup is my go-to comfort dish. Spicy broth with big pieces of tender meat...ramen-esque noodles.Definitely one of the gems in Gig Harbor.

I ordered chicken strips with honey mustard and a "side" salad. I got two meals off it and it was delicious!!! The chicken strips are clearly hand breaded in house, HUGE, juicy, and full of flavor. Must try if chicken strips are your thing! The salad course a light meal on its own, lots of "good stuff" I there.
