The food is really good but did I just pay $50 for 6 street tacos and 2 servings of rice and beans and a coke? Save yourself $30 next time and hit the taco truck. Jesus.

This is the best Mexican food I've had since we moved to Washington from Texas. Absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, the restaurant was very clean, and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was great, too. We had the asada quesadilla and the Tacos Nopalitos.
Took our 4y/o granddaughter for dinner. Short story; I have lots Mexican food experience and my wife, a terrific chef, is extremely critical of any restaurant food. All three of us loved our meals. Not boiler plate americanized Mexican food but fresh, authentic Mexican food. We had the Tijuana tacos, Nopalitos tacos, menudo soup and the children's quesadilla plate. Prices are high. Still, we've agreed to make this a frequent dinner stop.

With peace and love, this was the most upsetting $20 spent. And for one burrito!Carne asada burrito, no extras, and I walked out with 20 less dollars and a sad excuse for TJ Mexican food. I get its Gig Harbor and not San Diego, but charging that much to people who don't know better is the biggest offense.The rice isn't Mexican rice, the beans had no flavor, the meat was bleh, and the salsas are mid at best.Anyone in these reviews giving more than 3 stars has never had anything other than Taco Time and it shows.For $20 at El Sabor in Tacoma, you could get a burrito and tacos of an extremely higher caliber. This is just not it folks.
