These folks understand western barbecue. Also good at the sides that go with it: excellent cornbread, and the mac and cheese will make you sincerely pity the lactose intolerant (don't worry, the other stuff is good, too!). The setting hits just the right note: you can talk to your friends or your kids while you eat and not be uncomfortable if you get sauce on your shirt. And you can take it all home if you want.

Gunners is a game-changer for Glacier! From the moment I stepped in, Scott and his team are phenomenal. But let's talk food. The pulled pork is the stuff dreams are made of. It's slow-cooked to perfection, so tender it practically melts in your mouth, and the tangy vinegar sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. I haven't had pulled pork this good since my days in North Carolina, and that's saying something! Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
