“Stopped in to hang a bcrf poster and have a cold one just in time to miss an incredible squall, and then we parted ways and the weather was beautiful for the ride ”
“Actually can’t rate service or atmosphere since we’ve only been ordering take out for the past year, but genuinely impressed with flavors and portions. Seems like a lot of folks are disappointed in pricing, but I hope they can realize it’s no fault of small businesses that have to keep up with distribution/wage/costs of owning a restaurant in a small town these days. The quality has been consistent and we are fortunate enough to have diversity in cuisine options in our community. Happy to support you all!”
“This is a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Mexican dishes and atmosphere in Granite Falls. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Chicken enchiladas dish is my favorite.”
“Had a ceaser salad my husband got a pepperoni pizza to share with our little girl. Pizza was so good crisp crust. Salad was very big and very good. Ordered take out last week from there. And still amazing food. Ten out of ten recommended!”
“Love love love this cafe! It’s my new favorite place. Stopped here with my daughter on a whim and had the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. Fantastic food, the service was friendly and prompt, atmosphere is nice and spacious so you’re not sitting on top of other patrons. Highly recommend!”
“Not only is Colleen and her staff a bunch of AMAZING women, they legitimately have the best tasting coffee around and best service! I don't go anywhere else and even buy my beans from her. I can not recommend them enough!!!”
“Love the morning gals! Coffee is great and baristas have an amazing memory for what we drank the time Before. welcoming, since we just moved here. Busy stand so there can be a wait. But well worth it!!!”
“It was the first time going to this establishment, and the place was very clean. The food was excellent. The lady who checked me out was very helpful and very personable! Will definitely be back again!”
“The best fish n chips in town. 10/10 would recommend and they are fast and have great service.Kid-friendliness: I took my kiddo in her stroller. Plenty of room to wait and nobody was annoyed with her squawking ?”
“Cute good vibes coffee spot in Granite Falls...that won me over! It is drive up or walk up. I didn't get anything fancy but it was DELICIOUS! Americano with oat milk!! Looks like they had some fun specialty coffee drinks. Barista was super friendly and my hope is to come back before our trip ends! I do wish they sold there beans to take back home. :-) Highly recommend!”
“Great food, great price, great human. The Teriyaki is excellent and you will not find another place like it, I can gaurentee that.Pretty sure the proprietor lives upstairs and runs the restaurant out of his own house.Great reminder of what Amrerica is (supposedly) all about.Five stars for the food,Five stars for the couch in the dining area,Five stars for the Winter 2007 issue of Country Magazine.Love it.Parking: Easy, straightforward.Kid-friendliness: Nice people. Family owned/run.”
“The woman working tonight and making our 4 sandwiches did a wonderful job and was friendly despite the fact that my husband had just smoked weed then drank a whole bottle of wine in the bathtub and we showed up at 930pm.”
“We've been 3 times and the pizza and service has been great each time. They have games for the kids and TV so you can catch a game while enjoying your pizza.”
“Took my family tonight for dinner I’ve been to all the locations for this place but granite falls is hands down killing it on the grill. We ordered super Swiss dips and a Baja burger for my son hands down the best I’ve ever had . And I can cook good . The cooks here blew it out of the water. My Swiss dip was premo. Tips for all the cooks tonight and the wait staff. Hands down this location is the best. Thanks for an amazing dinner I’ll be back”
“Didn't eat there, no real deals like BK and Wendy's. It is combined with a mini mart and bathrooms between, which is what we needed after driving to big4 ice caves and finding them closed, and the ranger station too.”
“Met some friends for a birthday late lunch. I should have realized since they don’t open until 3 there really isn’t lunch-type options. My mistake for sure. We shared several small plates, all of which were tasty. Mac and cheese was delicious, also liked the Karaage chicken. Brussels were good, the halibut was good, but not our fave. The flavors were a bit “unmixed” and every once in a while there was a very spicy bite. Beers and drinks were reasonably priced. I did not notice a happy hour, but we did not sit in the bar, so again probably my mistake-? One friend had a “Hey Ricky” which she really loved and it looked fabulous. One small negative was the music was a bit loud for having a conversation- it seemed to get better later. It was all of our first time here and we will be back.”
“This is such a great place to go! I personally have been going since it opened back in 1990. Also been getting the same sub from there since I was about 6 years old.Highly recommend the Canadian bacon hot sub, I do light mayo and add pineapple. Still just as good as when I was a kid. That's 34 years of consistency, and you don't see that ofteb!”
“The service was amazing. I'm guessing it was the owner. I was talking to and she was an absolute sweetheart and took the time to explain all the dishes. I didn't get her name. But she looked like mom and possibly daughters working. They were all absolutely so sweet and the food. Oh my god out of this world Highly recommend. The chicken was crispy just like the picture and cooked perfectly Probably could have gotten A better picture but it was absolutely amazing delicious. Next time i'm gonna get the burger”
“A home run everytime I go. They do everything Right. The food, drinks, service etc. we always bring people here that have never been and they leave saying “we always want to go here when we come visit” kudos to the LJ’s/Pines family! Oh, see you again VERY soon.”
“Very friendly, fresh food, very efficient, and I have frequented many Vietnamese places... this is the top 3!!!! Highly recommended!!!! Never disappointed, and I have gone Here over 100 times. BEST VIET/THAI restaurant in lake stevens!!!!!!”
“Here's a funny story....Brace yourself, it will be long. To be respectful of the owner, owners, whatever it may be, I am omitting names and locations. Anyway...I used to order Teriyaki regularly during my lunch break from a specific location in WA. I loved the taste and the portions of this particular place. I LOVED this place. I ate Teriyaki exclusively at THIS place. If I wanted Teriyaki on a weekend, I would drive 25 minutes to get it from THIS place.I would always order this specific order: Chicken Breast Teriyaki, no salad, extra rice, and a side order of gyoza, no drink. I know, that's a lot of food for a dude 5'8" at a buck fifty, but I can put it away, especially during a cheat meal.Overtime, I would order, and the person on the line would say. "David? 15 minutes." So she got to know me through my repetitive and specific order.I loved the taste of the food. Everything. The portions are huge. You don't see that very often....Large portions and good food. It's typically either good food, small portions or bland food, large portions. Not here, which is why they earned my exclusive business. She also always included a drink and didn't charge me for it.This went on for years until one day, I noticed a sign on the door that they would be closing. I was pretty sad about it, but I just kind of accepted it as a lot of my favorite food places in that area also were closing. I also am not the best at dealing with grieving people or sad situations.I only ate Teriyaki a handful of times after that for the next 4-5 years. Typically out of necessity when I didn't bring a lunch, but only a handful of times and always disappointed they could not hit the bar I was used to.This was about 10 years in total.Recently, about a year ago, I was sitting on a the sofa and thinking about what I should have for a cheat meal....Scrolling and thinking, "No, no, no. None of these places will do." I started having flashbacks of the Teriyaki and Gyoza that I used to have.I decided to give it another go.I called up my local place in Lake Stevens "Teriyaki Diner." I ordered Chicken Breast Teriyaki, no salad, extra rice, a side order of gyoza, no drink."I kid you not, the woman on the line says, "David?"I can't tell you the euphoria, excitement, and shock I was feeling all at the same time. I had a minor existential crisis before I answered, "Yes!" There wasn't much you could say to me at this time to bring me down.We both kinda laughed it off before confirming my order. I went and picked it up as usual. Same place. Same great food. Same great people.Anyway....been ordering regularly again ever since. Love this place.PSTeriyaki is a great choice if you are on a diet and feeling naughty. Not sure who needs to hear that, but you are welcome.”
“High quality inventory made with love. The owners had a vision when they designed both the exterior and interior; their good taste is evident. Everything is pristine clean. I like their greeting cards and Tea Pig tea that they stock. All their baked goods: delish! Tiramisu Overnight Oats: the Best! Glad you are here.”
“I got the BBQ ranch chicken salad it was very good but a very large portion. The service was okay, our server wasn’t the friendliest but over all it was a nice place!”
“Love everything!!! Cookies, cupcakes and rice crisps are delicious. I honestly could eat a tasty treat from Jennys daily if it wasn't for cost and extra calories. lol Service is always wonderful. Nice location and easy to access. Enjoy!!!”
“The biscuits are to DIE for. We have tried to make this a semi regular place to get breakfast from since it's close by and prices are reasonable. We get the chive and cheddar biscuit with the sausage gravy. The mushroom gravy is also amazing.”
“This place has the best apple fritters I have ever had. And the service is extraordinary in all rights. You walk in and you feel like your in a small Wonka world. With Exquisitely made delectable donuts. If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and just go. You won't be sorry..( order ahead especially the apple fritters, they sell out fast )”
“Simply Sweet Cupcakes put together a micro two tiered cake for our wedding ceremony and it turned out perfect!! We went with their vanilla cake, raspberry filling, and buttercream frosting. We received so many compliments from our guests and we barely had any cake left over. Kate was great at responding to emails quickly and she helped us determine which cake decorations would be best. We were thrilled to be able to support a local business and we're very happy that we chose Simpy Sweet Cupcakes to be apart of our special day!!”

“100% one of the best stands around. I've been going here once or twice sometimes more a week for the last 8 years they remember my preferred drinks are super friendly. I see some of the baristas around town and they always say hello. The drinks are always perfect. They are SUPER POPULAR with the locals so I wait till there isn't a line to swing by.Kid-friendliness: They always love to see my fur baby or my actual baby lol nice baristas all of them!”
