Absolutely the best Bento lunch I’ve ever had! I got the lunch special number one Karage chicken: It was light crisply battered served with fresh lemon. There dusted rice, Mac salad (not too much mayonnaise with nice piece of blanched broccoli, a salmon, avocado roll, Edamame a fresh orange slice, wakame salad, pickled ginger and wasabi. Then for dessert was a yummy tamago patty- little tomato, too! Price was reasonable. I will definitely be coming back!

Why did it take me so long to try this place??If you have good taste and know your way around good Japanese food AND like what a good bento box is like- this is the place for you. I have been eating Japanese food my whole life and ate my way across Japan, I have missed the amazing bento boxes you can get literally anywhere there. This is the answer to that. Literally everything it have tried is amazing. I especially appreciate ordering online and picking up. Very very impressed.
Finally stopped by today. Had Makunouchi bento for myself and that was amazingly good. It has pieces of everything! I don’t think they are pricey at all for that volume and quality. I am so happy we finally have authentic Japanese food in the East side.

We dropped off some returns at UPS next door and stopped by here. We ordered 5 bento boxes- (2 katsu, mackerel, tempura, and tofu). Took about 15 minutes to get our food. The total was about $80.It's a small little place for basically takeout. The gal was nice and professional. Their bento box setup is so pretty with all the colors and the food arranged just so delicately. This is my second time having lunch here and we will be back. I like that it's close to lots of other stuff. Parking can be tricky though - tight spaces and lots of cars.

The best bento on the Eastside. So fresh so it takes a bit to get your order though so beware.
My husband picked up dinner here last night! We ordered the shoukudo bento and the pork katsu and added a miso soup. We loved the variety of the bento box and the sashimi tasted very fresh. We also really liked the pork katsu (nice and crispy) and went great with the mac salad! The only thing was the miso soup tasted under seasoned and pretty bland like there should have been let salt added. But other than that, everything else was really good!

If I had to eat the same 3 entrees every day for the rest of my life it'd be the Pork Katsu, Chicken Karaage, and Seafood Poke from Bento-ya Goemon.11/10
Small takeout bento place with a really nice Japanese woman taking orders. About 15 minute wait for food.We ordered Katsu chicken bento, and Katsu curry. The curry is very mild, more traditional. The katsu has great texture, and good flavor. Rice also has good flavor.Overall, we'll above expectations, we'll definitely come back here!

My to go bento place. Love this place and tried couple of their items like salmon, saba, and my favorite is katsu. They also have some dessert from pastry mitten. Highly recommend it. A gem in the neighborhood.
