I have lived in and around Issaquah for a decade; it's always been common knowledge that Chef Edna is one of the best chefs in the city. She has a mastery of meat and spice that has earned each menu item a spot on my bucket list. Even though I'm not usually one to tolerate spicy food, it's so intricate and well made I don't even mind.Chef Edna and her family are warm and welcoming and will often say hello. It is always a joy to experience the World Cafe!

We've all heard about master level people living in little towns. Well, it's true! Our own Chef Edna has an extraordinary story, and her food is ....well you just HAVE to try it. Julian S. is absolutely right about her goat curry!!! Erin B writes with complete accuracy that Chef Edna has a wonderful balance and that her palate is is spectaular.

Mom n mom cafe run by Kate who refused a to make hot chocolate because people found her made from scratch drink too expensive. The food was excellent, the seating basic and the place filled up by the time we left. I will go there again

Wonderful restaurant! I passed through while driving from Seattle towards the east. The fish tacos were some of the best I’ve had, and the service was top notch! Try the hot sauces while you’re there. Would definitely go back.

I had the Piri Piri chicken with Portuguese rice and warm date cake with caramel for dessert. The chicken was very flavorful and the crispy skin complemented the moist chicken breast. The dessert was crazy, stupid drop-your-spoon-and-stare-at-your-plate good!!! Chef Edna knows what she's doing in that kitchen!

Just ate crispy artichoke salad and the house fish and chips........ wonderful! My wife had the chicken marsala......she throughly loved it! Service is top notch........please try! Opening for breakfast starting next week! Recommend all of their hot sauces. Good conversation with Edna, the owner. The wine that was recommended paired nicely. Over all a wonderful experience.

The most amazing flavors I have had in a long time. Everyone should try this. So unique and incredible. The biscuit and gravy will change your life. If you like spices then this place will change your life. We tried there incredible dessert too. Just as incredible as everything else.

So happy Chef Edna started brunch starting in April and as a chicken and waffles lover, was my usual basis. Such a great secret in Issaquah she is -- and dont forget to sample her array of homemade amazing sauces...

We came in and were quickly greeted and seated by Chef Edna. She's a delight to speak with and her food is wonderful. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, well prepared, and an eclectic menu. You must try this restaurant and especially her unique Goat Curry from her native land of Goa!

We came in for a takeout order while we were staying the night in Issaquah. I had the steakhouse salad and my husband had the African chicken. We shared an order of the grandmas bread. Everything was incredible and cooked perfectly. Even the steamed vegetables that came with the chicken were out of this world. The staff was so nice and the place has such a good vibe. We will definitely be back.
