Got told they had a sampler of VERITY of food and a sandwich. Didn’t know a sampler was only 3 small meatballs and 2 small things of chicken that was made the day before. The coleslaw wasn’t home made it came from a store. The Mac n cheese was the only good thing out of the “sampler.” How was that suppose to feed a family of 6?! I’m highly disappointed as the food didn’t even taste good… considering it’s a day old and “heated up.”

Fantastic barbecue. Pulled pork is to die for. Definitely worth the stop at Lacey Depot where he hangs out. Look for The tall BBQ Man float! :)

JBLM food truck. Price said $15 for two meats on the board. later found out on my card I was charged $17.25. Mac n cheese was dry, ribs and pork was ok.

Don't waste your money. I ordered the "pulled pork" sandwich for $8.00. It was served on a hot dog bun! They didn't even toast the bun. The meat was pork that might have been cooked in a crock pot. They used "Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce" straight out of the jug. It wasn't even doctored up with their own seasoning. There were no pickles, cabbage or anything else on the sandwich. It came with a child-sized bag of chips (the type you add into a child's school lunch) and a bottle of water. They offered no bags and provided one napkin.I had also ordered one with "hot BBQ sauce". That one was first drenched in the Sweet Baby Ray sauce with additional hot sauce. It was soggy and the hot dog bun was disintegrated by the time I got back to my desk to eat. They had arrived by invitation to my work site to offer an option to employees. They had no menu posted on the truck and only other option they had was a burnt ends sandwich. They had no sides other than the bagged chips. I was admonished for bringing cash, that was accepted reluctantly. They had no receipt to offer and they advised me to bring my credit card next time. There will be no next time and I have advised my coworkers to avoid this truck on the next scheduled appearance.

The initial contact was great, we were provided a quote for 50 people and we were told multiple meats and sides would be provided for our unit (Army) function. The day of the event not enough food was provided and they tried to say we never provided a head count even though they gave us a quote saying we were going to have 50 people there. The plates were over priced for the amount of food that was provided and the food was cold. There was not enough food for the number of guest there so families were not fed. The driver got a call and was informed that their other event had more revenue coming in so the truck left prior to feeding everyone instead of getting additional food.Bad experience and will not use them for future group events or even eat at this truck on base.

Food was great.... when I cooked it. Use to work for the man BBQ since day one, but then I left due to inappropriate conversation in front of customers about personal hygiene and lack of payment. Came back thinking things would change but have not, left work 2nd time due to tips not being given last year and then came back a 3rd time for the same reason but left due to payment issues in the past. Loved the work and when I use to cook the food, just wont be back and left a name for myself as the grill sergeant on Fort Lewis. if I had to rate the food I would give a star I'd always go to the other food trucks. My job had them cater us. We have 3 shifts the place was there 1030-330pm. My shift came in at 2pm expecting to have a choice between 3 meats with sides for $8. Whrn we arrived at 2pm there was 1 choice of meat and no sides available, which was very disappointing. We work on an island n have no way to get more food if we bank on the cater food. If you are a business n dealing with state employees it is your job to ensure there is plenty of food. Let's not speak on the small amount of meat they provided with the sandwich we ended up paying $5 for a sandwich chips, water which was only $3 worth. The bbq was very flavorful but myself and my coworkers were disappointed. At the lack of options swing shift got and the amount of food left. If the location uses this place again plan accordingly. I only gave this 3 stars because the bbq was good. Quantity 1, planning 1. Hopefully this business can learn for next time.
