“We came here randomly to celebrate NYE 2024 before heading to a rooftop party to watch the Space Needle NYE show. No reservations are needed, so this place came in clutch. We're so glad we came here! The owners were there and provided NYE hats and party beads, and the whole bar had a champagne toast to celebrate the ball drop in NYC. It was such a nice time, and the owners were very kind in providing NYE gear and champagne for everyone! We had yet to learn before coming here how much of a community vibe you get with this place. We ordered: -The Crab Nachos were super filling and tasty. I'm so glad we got these! They were the perfect final meal to end 2023. I will definitely be back for these. -The Painted Hills Beef Burger was delicious and filling. -While I Was Away - Refreshing and light, perfect pre-dinner drink -Devil's Margarita--This one was pretty strong. I highly recommend it. The flavor mix was interesting. I noticed this was a big hit. There were several tables that got this one. -Some beers, I need to remember which ones, but my partner says they were good! “I visited this speakeasy on a Friday night with my husband on recommendation from friends. It is a very small place and mostly seatings are around the bar. Didn’t sound appealing to me but believe me it was fun! I would recommend going in small group of 2 or max 4. I don’t think they accept reservations but we got a table within 10 mins of putting our names. The drinks are amazing! Very flavorful and well made! I loved the dua dua coconut if you are a coffee fan you must try the ca phi tini! Cooling water is also refreshing. In terms of food, we had pho which is made in pho bac downstairs. We also had the tofu rolls and the broccoli cheese dip. My only critic is that the dip came in much later and we were full from the pho so couldn’t do justice with the dip. It was pretty cheesy and heavy. Overall fun time proof being I forgot to click pictures of the drinks ;)“

They serve it with biscuits, poached eggs, collard greens , bacon, tomato jam, sweet chilies and mayo.My husband likes their fried chicken with biscuits and gravy. “This small restaurant is a great Asian fusion spot in Edmonds. I’ve been here 3x now and have been pleasantly surprised by their dishes and cocktails. The place has a great selection of Asian inspired foods along with a list of specials served weekly (or monthly?). I highly recommend booking a reservation a few days in advance as they’re always full both weekdays and weekends. I’ve managed to snag a spot at their bar without a reservation the last 2x I’ve gone during dinner hour. The soup dumplings, Brussels sprouts, yakisoba add katsu chicken, and homemade mac salad are some of favorites. I’ve also tried their beef rice bowl and tacos (on the speciality menu) which have been tasty as well. I haven’t made it to happy hour yet, but it’s on the list! “This place is an absolute gem with the best service anywhere in Seattle. I went for the first time during their "Tiki Peaks" theme and have been back several times since. I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan and had no idea that was even going on, so it made for the perfect surprise to see the place and the menu decked out in TP references. The cocktails are wonderful with interesting ingredients and the presentation is beautiful, which makes it hard not to stay for an extra drink or two. The food menu is, admittedly, not really my thing so I haven't tried too many options, but it's delicious if you're into some high quality homemade crunchwraps. The huckleberry tres leches was delicious too. And one of my favorite things about this place is that they regularly sell fun merch and replica props from film/TV.“

The calamari was the highlight of the trio, with the tartare coming in close behind. For entrees we favored the lamb, but the duck was great, the Mac and Cheese decadent, and it feels odd to say - but the brussel sprouts almost over shined everything. And don't pass on dessert! The torte was a perfect bite of chocolate everything; the brownie was melt-in-your-mouth perfect; and the carrot cake was like nothing I've ever had--it was like a bite of Fall. I will continue to come here for special times in my life. Some of the best dishes of my life, definitely on par with Michelin starred restaurants we have tried in the past. “We had a private event at Northwest Sprits and it was perfect. Kristin (Events Director) was super organized and responsive. She answered all the questions and emails promptly which made our decision making easy. The food from Von’s 1000 Spirits was fresh and delicious. Jacqueline (General Manager/mixologist) and Kaitlin (mixologist) who ran the event were super professional and helpful, they made empty glasses and plates “magically” disappear from the tables. But most importantly they made delicious and beautifully presented crafted cocktails while accommodating dietary restrictions of our guests. All of our guests were extremely happy with the event.“

“Had to check out the falafel and here's my review... I'd like to state up front that as someone who lived in Israel for years and has always been very critical of "hippie" falafel and most Americans attempts which always seem to include lettuce, which has absolutely no place in a falafel, this was as close to an authentic falafel that I have seen in the western states. That being said, I found no reason to go back. Been there, done that. (Although it is a Hummus Bar and I didn't bother to try that because I make extraordinarily good hummus at home.) I've been avoiding bread on my new diet but was intrigued that there was a new source in town for fresh pita, which can make or break a falafel sandwich. I tried to secure an end to taste, (the top section that is cut off to stuff the pita,) the ends are traditionally tossed but my attempt was rebuffed by the staff who claimed they used them so I went ahead and ordered the "stuffed falafel" sandwich. What I got when I ordered the Stuffed Falafel was better than any pita I've ever had in Seattle, but it wasn't up to snuff with a traditional pita. It was too bready and airy for me, but it held together very well, when it was completely full of all the ingredients and sauce. Everything inside was very yummy, a great tahini sauce and tasty falafel balls, though I thought the falafel was a bit under-cooked and soft. The mix of cucumbers, tomatoes & Israeli-style pickles was great but there was none of the expected red or purple cabbage. The waitress claimed that there was cabbage in there but it was white, but I couldn't taste it at, a definite let down. At my favorite falafel shops in Jerusalem and NYC you load your own veges and choose your own sauces and I always go heavy on cabbage & pickles. No problems though, I wolfed it right down... :) I also tried a side order of חצילים and it was good, but nothing to write home about. In conclusion it was the best falafel I ever had in Seattle, but I'm still looking for that completely authentic falafel shop to come around.“

“The SRW dinner menu is quite good. However, one disappointing aspect was that the eggplant dish, listed on the website, was not available onsite. The appetizers were phenomenal, and the main dishes were also good. For dessert, I would only choose the baklava if I knew how the puff tasted. I hope the puff is crispy outside and cold inside. The service exceeded expectations! All the staff were welcoming, accommodating, and very nice!“

It’s a big inside space with large windows that open up to the outside. Also you can order from Maono chicken that has a spot inside as well. Great chicken! Good selection of beers, and limited but decent wines. We were all satisfied with our choices of beers and wines.FOOD: 4.0.- Bibimbap: 4.5. A real standout and I will order again. I hadn't had Bibimbap this good since living in Hawaii and Guam. I chose to have with Tofu, though beef is also available. Especially good with a cold beer.- Sashimi: 3.5. The Japanese person in our group rated her DELUXE DINNER as quite good for previously-frozen fish, and says she would order it again. I ordered one tako sashimi and would rate it a 2.5; in future I won't order individual sashimi.SERVICE: 3.5. Enthusiastic and accurate.AMBIANCE: 4.0. Indoor and some outdoor seating. It became quite full by 6pm on the Friday we visited (with a full parking lot), but never got so noisy that we couldn't easily carry on a conversation.“
