Unbelievable breakfast, we had the breakfast burrito, loaded biscuits and gravy, and their special, a eggs Benedict over biscuits. Truly a gem in the middle of Kennewick. We are headed back today out of our way just to eat breakfast there again. The restaurant is a small place so expect a short wait, however it is worth it!

Came right before closing but they were quick and very accommodating. Food was good although a little pricey. Good quick place with outdoor seating and great for families with kids.

Two& a half stars because of kind staff. That's it. Food is bland and the hash browns taste like the oil they were fried in. Advice: go somewhere else. If you choose to eat here, then skip the hollandaise completely. It's got texture/graininess and is more like a yellow gravy than true hollandaise. I asked for it on the side and that was ignored. I have no idea why this place has such a good rating. Maybe because of the staff? $18+ tip was way too much for this version of an eggs benedict (Joel's Benedict). Again, go somewhere else.

Always a joy. Always wonderful food, it's good ol diner delicious. The staff is always so kind. They are busy but still take a moment to say hi and to see how you are doing. My only challenge is that I wish the pie crust has a wee bit more color to it, sometimes, it's a bit doughy. That being said, the creative flavors are such a delight. Kiwi, Horchata, Fruity Pebbles, oh my! Can't say enough about Jesse and his attention to details. Great holandaise, as is lemony and I like it that way. Candied bacon - I think it should be a part of the regular menu.

Have had 2 great breakfasts at Joel's. First the special of smoked tri tip and bacon omelet. This was huge and could have been shared. Omelet great, hash browns were crisp and toast served with homemade jam. Second time I took my daughter in law. She had the tri tip omelet and I had the chicken fried steak. Steak had a good thickness and was crispy. Both of our hash browns were crispy with toast and homemade strawberry jam. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was nicely seasoned. Then don't forget the $.69 cent coffee with a bottomless cup!

Stopped by Just Joel's for brunch today because it was one of the most highly rated spots in town. I'm disappointed to say I regret going. While waiting at the front while the only server (for 10 or so tables) was on the phone, we decided to look at a to go menu. When she finished taking the phone order she spoke over us to let the people behind us know it would be a few minutes. We realized that she made the assumption that we wanted to order to go because we had been looking at those menus. This is understandable and not a significant part of why the experience was poor.We tried the breakfast burrito and the taco salad. The burrito was not bad but was very greasy and salty which was helped by the Pico but I found myself with half of the overpriced burrito and no Pico left to balance the flavors. The taco salad looked amazing but was very bland. I was hoping for the sort of Mexican style taco meats packed with flavor and instead got a lot of mediocre meat and onion piled on lettuce and Tortilla chips with only enough dressing to make it through about a third of the nearly $20 salad before no more dressing was left.In a nutshell, our visit here was disappointing due to overpriced and underwhelming food. I hope that if I visit again it will be much better than this was.

This little cafe is so awesome! Super friendly staff. Joel was even there cooking! My breakfast was absolutely delicious. You can tell they make some of it from scratch. LOTS OF FLAVOR. I will definitely be back! Excuse my dressing on my food in the picture.

Came through the Tri Cities on our way home this weekend from pendleton. Currently live in Spokane and always wanted to try this spot. I had the veggie omelette with egg whites and it was spectacular. My sister and niece equally loved their French toast and cod sandwich. Wishing you all the absolute best in business. They were very busy and the 2 servers did outstanding service for the crowd they had. They worked well together and were very kind.

We were in town for a Geocaching event. My PIC / sister picks out the best breaky places! Her winning tradition continues.Small but mighty in the real estate footprint. We were greeted as of we were family. The grill master was bumping some tunes that all the diners enjoyed as they danced in their seats. Our servers were amazing.Lastly, we guessed wrong about the pie whiteboard. It's counting down inventory vs tallying likes. I asked for blueberry lemon, PIC got strawberry rhubarb.

Great Pies and great coffee !! I have never eaten anything else but have been told great things about the food.

After hearing so many wonderful things about the food at Just Joel's, I decided to give them a try. I won't do that again! The Reuben Sandwich had little strings of corned beef on it, not even enough to cover 1/3 of the bread. The corned beef was rubbery and chewy, not tender at all. Very little corned beef flavor. There was so little sauerkraut that I couldn't taste it. If there was Swiss cheese on it, I don't know where it was hiding. No thousand island dressing, which is what is supposed to be on a classic Reuben. The salad that came with it was inedible because of the strong smell of preservatives. I was looking forward to saying good things about Just Joel's, but the meal I got was Just Awful.
