Best donuts I've personally EVER had. Even far better than that "famous" shop in N. Richland which did not impress me at all. Went there once and never had a desire to return. But this shop with the husband and wife owners from Cambodia were very friendly and welcoming. Donuts so fresh and so delicious. They melt in your mouth. Even two days older they were not dry or stale. That's very impressive.

I've had a lot of donuts in my life. A LOT OF DONUTS. This place does donuts right. Fresh, flavorful, perfect consistency. We used to live on the west side and had plenty of donut options but none as good as this place. Popular Donuts can compete with Randy's donuts in L.A. - they are THAT good. My go to is the buttermilk. Go early because they do sell out. One last thing - they are priced fair for donuts. Yum!

The maple bars are amazing!!! The other donuts are good too, but LOVE that maple. If you stop here on a saturday morning, prepare to wait in a long line. There is a reason for that line. They also seem to sell out of many of the donuts before noon on Saturday.
Upon arriving I saw 5 eldery men with their donuts. Has to be great right?! I guess this is a happening dating spot. Put this on a tinder list...anyhow, it's been awhile since I've had a great donut. I have good donuts often but great epic donuts? This is that kind. My hubby asked me to surprise him with donuts when he woke up. I didn't want any run of the mill Safeway donut. I was referred here and popular donuts did not dissapoint. Had maple.bacon, cherry glazed, blueberry cake, creme filled chocolate...need to run back. Not walk. Asap. These donuts are LIFE
