BEWARE! We have gone to the Rusty Elbow several times since it's opening. Each time we go in hopes that the service and food improves. Sadly, it has consistently gone downhill. Our last visit, and I mean LAST VISIT was the worst experience to date. Upon arrival, we were pretty much ignored. We were finally offered a beverage and asked if we would be ordering food. We had planned to eat a little something so we ordered a couple meals and drinks. After about 30 minutes, one of the staff, not our original service person approached our table and informed us that one of our meals was "sold out" and the other meal was "still frozen". Can't believe it actually took 30 plus minutes to figure that out. We were offered a second look at the menu and when we said yes, the service person appeared put out. 15 more minutes went by before we were again approached to place a food order. I'm embarrassed to say that we actually stayed throughout this whole ordeal. We have given the benefit of the doubt to this place over and over, but, this was the last straw. Bye Rusty Elbow!

I used to frequent this bar when it was owned by a previous owner (and was named "Gonzo's"). That bar was dubbed the high school reunion bar since most of the people I graduated high school with would go there quite often in our early 20s. The ambience is different now, I don't like it much personally but I'm sure many will feel different. The food is worse now, and the prices are no better. The staff that I engaged with were very rude and it wasn't a busy night or anything out of the norm. It's one of the only bars in the area though, so for many.. it's the most logical choice if you live in the lake meridian area of Kent and don't drive or don't have a designated driver. Please drink responsibly, or let someone else drive!

Karaoke on Friday was a blast, the staff were super friendly, and the bartender even got up to sing. The food is tasty and comes in big portions, I recommend the natural cut fries as a side!

Super tasty bar food, nice ambiance, and live music was superb. I suggest the BBQ sandwich, highly recommend!

I serve In the military. Had my best friends since childhood who drove 22 hours from California come visit. And I said since we are all finally newly 21, let's go bar hoping (responsibly) and decide to come to this bar. As soon as we get in the women came and asked us for ID, perfectly fine. But she denied my two best friends got denied because their IDs were vertices (relieved before 21) which could be verified by aamager or second form of ID. First bar of several to deny instantly. Also pretty dead, have to lay for pool tables,

Dude cmon man. Came in with my friends and they didn't take vertical ID's even though we were above 21. Didn't ask for manager or anything. Didn't let me use restroom either.

I don't care much for going to bars, but this place is my favorite, and I would go out of my way to go to this bar. They have billiards for $1, arcade games, karaoke and delicious bar food. I like to get the sampler, which is three fried foods of choice. I go with the onion rings, mozzo sticks, and waffle fries. All of them are prepared and fries to perfection.Lastly, the most important part, the bartender makes great drinks and she pours like we aren't in a recession. Hands down the best value and taste ratio for drinks I've ever had at a bar.I will be coming back with friends and I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for booze, billiards and karaoke.

Bree is a fresh breeze of pleasant and competent service here, the owners are cool and actively present. Poker, karaoke and live music nights. Jessica rocks too. The new cook makes pretty standard bar fare with a little pride, everything we have ordered since his arrival has been excellent.

Friendly staff and good food, I recommend ordering your food quick cause it can take a moment, enjoy a beer while you wait. There was a band setting up for Saturday, we didn't get to stay and listen but seemed like good folks!!

Amazing wings and tots. Tons of food. Friendly staff. Can't wait to go back. I ate almost all my wings before this photo. But oh so yummy.

We went here to try the food however, I guess they needed to count the drawer for 20 minutes instead of taking a food order. We were served a drink but nothing to really elaborate or review on a soda or bottled beer. We left after sitting waiting for 20 minutes to place an order.

This place is crap! The management is super shady! They cover up over serving people and lie! Please shut this place down and don't give them ANY more of your money! This is absolutely NOT a safe place to have food or a drink. BEWARE!!!

Bartender was not very friendly and when I asked what was their house vodka and she replied, "I don't know, Vodka". Very snarky. Then I asked if it was still happy hour. Again, "I don't know. I think so." The bartender had limited customer service skills. As an older female, I did not appreciate the rudeness, especially when I watched her demeanor change when she attended male customers. As an older woman herself, she should know better. I downed this drink quick because the vibe of the place was regulars only. It was not busy at all, and then it took forever to get my check. I would not go back.

I will give this place a 1star because I can't give it a zero. The service sucks, dishes were filthy. This is the 3rd try and will be the last. It's too bad because the area needs a good bar. Unfortunately this is not it.
